rooCASE Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 Case Origami Slim Shell 7-Inch 7" Cover - RED

I love this case for my Kindle. It fits super well and works like a charm. I haven't had any issues with the auto on and off when you open and close it and the origami like bending to it makes it super versatile in the ways that you stand it up or have it support itself on a flat surface. Some people are complaining it doesn't fit and I think that's because they expect the lip of the plastic to come up all the way around the kindle on the right side? It fits like a glove and grabs and squeezes the kindle at that side so it is super secure and flush. I prefer that as it reduces bulk and if it did wrap all the way around the top cover would fit askew and not fully protect the screen. The top cover also magnetizes to that same lip when you close it to ensure you screen doesn't scratch when not in use and in your bag or whatever. It doesn't make the case any less secure and if anything it is difficult to remove the kindle from the case. The case does a great job of really latching onto the kindle and staying secure.

This case was a bit of a disappointment. It feels like it is made from the thinnest cardboard possible, then coated with a thin layer of latex. A rather disagreeable feel in the hands and definitely not very protective of the Kindle. Even though it's slim and had large cutouts for the buttons, they were still somewhat difficult to access, although I fault the design of the Kindle more than the cases which try to accommodate it. It's a very poor design in my opinion because of the angles which make it difficult to deal with the charging port and volume buttons. However, this case is flimsy, so that's why I only gave it two stars. My husband has an original leather Origami and it is not nearly this flimsy. This case does fit the Kindle well, and the cutouts are appropriately placed.

I really like the versatility of the cover. It's also nice that it isn't bulky. My only concern is how will it hold up to all the folding.

Nice red cover, firm yet soft feel. Kindle fits perfectly. Glad some decent covers are still available for older Kindle Fires. I also like the oragami type cover, can even fold it for portrait view.

I got the red case, it has served me well to protect my kindle and it is easy to use. I would buy this case again and will keep this brand in mind when we need to buy more tablets and cases (for my kids).

The rooCASE lives up to its description. Lightweight and flexible, it has done a good job protecting my Kindle during my international travels.

This case is great. It is protective and can be stood up many different ways. It also can be set nicely on a workout machine at the gym. It also is a nice slim fit so it fits nicely in my work bag.

I was not certain about ordering this case for my 2nd generation Kindle Fire HD 7. Seemed like it was too good to be true with the price and the features. It fits properly, feels good, looks good. I am happy.
