ILLUMISHIELD Screen Protector Compatible with Google Nexus 7 (2013,2nd Gen)(Wi-Fi)(3-Pack) Clear HD Shield Anti-Bubble and Anti-Fingerprint PET Film

The iLLumiShield Crystal Clear screen protector for the Nexus 7 (2013) arrived quickly, packaged nicely in a thin cardboard sleeve, so nothing was creased or damaged. A microfiber cloth and card for smoothing bubbles out was included.The install went OK with this one. I've had smoother installs, but it really depends a lot on luck. It's easy for bits of dust to get in no matter how well you clean the device. Having aligned the protector on the clean device, when I did get several bits of dust that were forming bubbles, I easily lifted the protector with a bit of magic tape, used another clean piece of magic tape to remove the dust specks from the protector adhesive surface and laid the protector back down again, smoothing it out with the card. I ended with a decent install and was happy.The only minus was that the magic tape used to lift the protector up for dust speck removal left some slight residue on the top of the protector which then had to be cleaned off with alcohol, and it was harder than I expected to remove and I was therefore worried about scratching the protector. This could have been avoided if the manufacturer had used an additional top protective film on the protector to be peeled off after the install was finished.What I really like though, is that there were three protectors provided in one package, so if I'd botched the first install, I'd have had another two tries. Gives a certain piece of mind to the process! Further, if at a later date, the initial protector would start to show wear or get inadvertently scratched, I'd have another at hand to replace it with. I feel that companies who provide more than one protector in a package give a MUCH better value for price and for that, I applaud iLLumiShield!Because of the lack of a top protective film on the protector, I deduct one star. Otherwise a very nice product, the feel is very similar to the original glass. I have noticed no degradation of screen clarity.It should be mentioned that it is a bit worse for showing fingerprints than the original glass of the Nexus 7, but that is often the case with a clear protector as opposed to an anti-glare matte one. I prefer the screen clarity of the crystal clear and just clean frequently.

I bought these maybe 2 weeks ago and waiting to install them because I had a replacement Nexus 7 on the way, the other one had major backlight bleeding.I finally got around to installing it. When I first peeled the tab, I couldn't tell which side was the screen protector. Both the screen protector and the film on the protector were very thin and flimsy. You might think this is a good thing, but a thin screen protector doesn't protect much.I laid the screen protector on in my room with the fan off so there would be less dust in the air. I made sure to clean the surface with the included cloth. I got it lined up pretty good, but there were a lot of air bubbles. This is normal as nothing ever goes on perfectly flat. Air bubbles can typically be worked out very easily. If they can't, then that means there is a dust particle causing the bubble. If you can work out all the air bubbles, it means there isn't any big dust particles. So I got all of my bubbles worked out using the included application card. But here comes the problem.The application card will mark up your screen protector. They should have included a rubberized application card, like Skinomi, so the hard plastic doesn't make marks on the screen protector. Right now, I can see 5 marks all caused from the application card. This card is too hard and will easily make marks on the thin screen protector. If you buy this screen protector, just use your fingers to work out the bubbles.Also, the screen now does not feel nearly as smooth. My Nexus 7 used to have a very smooth feel to it, now it has a squeaky feel to it.I don't know if this happens with all of their screen protectors or if I just got a bad batch. Luckily they have lifetime replacements so I will likely be emailing them soon.

This is truly a great screen protector. They are inexpensive, and you get 3 per pack which is great if you screw up and get lint under one (like I did).The protector is super clear, and is quite difficult to discern that it is installed. I was concerned the edges wouldn't adhere perfectly like other protectors, but they do, and it looks excellent. For me, the cutouts are perfect, and this is one of the few designs out there right now that understood that there is no need for a third cutout for the notification LED on the bottom of the device. Bravo, Illumishield.There is no noticeable degradation of touch sensitivity, and this is always a plus in my book. Obviously I cannot comment on durability as it has only been installed one day, but I don't plan on throwing my tablet around anyway, so I suspect that it will do a great job.Looking around at their other products, it appears they carry a wide variety of screen protectors - even for the Galaxy Nexus, which has been discontinued for some time now.When the new Nexus phone finally comes out (October?) I hope to see some screen protectors for that phone, as I seem to have found my new favorite screen protector company.In short, buy these for your new Nexus 7 - You won't be disappointed you did.

WoW! I have Purchased this product from iBhejo. Ordered the product on 15th December, 2014 and Received it today (22-12-2014). The Product is Superb. Touch Responsiveness is brilliant as if screen protector is not there. Almost invisible on the screen, only edges are visible if you ever try to see it. Although it catches Fingerprints, but once the screen wakes up, no effects can be seen on the display. I was little bit worried that Screen Protector may spoil the look of the beautiful display of my Nexus7 2013 Tablet, but after applying this screen protector, all my worries have gone!!! Awesome Product. Now, I just hope that the screen protector sticks with my tab for a long time.
