Goes perfectly with the Kuru Toga but honestly these leads would make any mechanical pencil perform better. The difference in line quality compared to generic refill leads is noticeable immediately — smoother on the page, darker without being soft, and they hold their point well without snapping under normal writing pressure. The smudge-proof claim actually holds up, which is the thing I was most skeptical about. Left-handed writers especially will notice the difference — lines stay crisp rather than smearing across the page as your hand drags over them. 40 leads per tube times 5 packs is a serious supply that will last a long time even with daily use. The value here is excellent for what you're getting. Uni clearly put real thought into the lead formula rather than just making a generic refill product. If you're already using a quality mechanical pencil, pairing it with these leads is the logical next step. Hard to imagine going back to anything else.

If you bought a Kuru Toga pencil and liked the pencil lead they included with it, these are the same leads. They have the same slightly different looking texture to them compared to most other brands of pencil leads, they don't smudge, and they don't break unless you press really, really hard. They're a bit more expensive but well worth the money, especially if you're like me and tend to break leads a lot.
