KALM with Kava Borongoru Micronized Kava (8 oz)

I've been an avid Kava consumer for a few years now. One thing that I have found is that the earthier and peppery the taste of the Kava, the heavier it feels. The Borongoru variety is no exception. At low servings ( 1 tablespoon per 16 ounces of liquid) it is a general relaxant. My body is relaxed, and I feel lightly sedated. With heavier doses (3 to 4 tablespoons per 16 ounces of liquid) it's very heady. I sometimes feel like I'm numb from the head to foot. I like using heavier doses for evenings to help me sleep. I choose lighter doses for sipping throughout the day. I highly recommend this product. It doesn't have a "good taste", but no true Kava does with exception to fresh kava. I personally choose a lightly acidic fruit juice or a sweetened almond milk with vanilla extract or zero calorie syrup.

I'm a fan of the micronized kava sold by Kalm with Kava, but they were out of stock of this one on their website when I wanted to order. The price is higher here, but I didn't pay for shipping so it pretty much evened out.

Good quality, pain stress relief, alochol replacement

Sure you get a high/ relaxing vibe for few minutes but thats after downing a huge amount of disgusting, bitter, stomach turning sludge. Might be a good substitute for alcohol if you have a drinking problem. I can see why it’s a Pacific Islander thing, you’d have to be on an island with no other substitutes to enjoy it.

Kalm with Kava has been my go-to kava vendor for a long time. Always the best kava, hard to find anything that even comes close.

Very unpleasant taste. I’ve yet to find a mixer that it tastes good with. I’ve gagged a few times while trying to drink.

It’s easy to prepare, gives a nice full body relaxing buzz and this company is great!

I am a big fan of KwK Kavas. I have been buying their kava for several months now and I really like it. It works well and is a good product.
