If the floor is 12x12 and the walls slant in, what are the dimensions of the roof?

The walls do slant in slightly but I have never measured the roof dimensions. We have used it once and are very happy with it.

do the roll down flaps zipper shut?

The flaps on the two sides, that don’t have doors, do zip closed. On the sides with zippered doors, the flaps can be used as awnings (but only has one set of poles to do that) or closed easily with toggles and loops that are attached. Love this tent! No need to close the sides unless rain is expected.

Can one or more sides be removed to back a car inside slightly?

None of the sides can be removed totally, depending on the size of the vehicle it may open wide enough to back one in
