Q: Can this frame be painted?

I guess it could be painted. I think the end result would depend on the paint. Unless really desired I wouldn’t recommend painting the frame though.

Q: Does frame block motion detector on the bottom center of TV bezel, so screen no longer wakes up & display art. Can a seller address this issue please?

I have the dark walnut trim and I have no issues. There are cutouts in the trim to accommodate those sensors.

Q: Could this color (beige/light wood) pass for gold?

No it has a grain texture and isn’t really “yellow”. However the tv and frame concept with changeable art is awesom and after a year of ownership it has fooled 100% of the people that has seen it t on the wall all assuming it’s a piece of art. What surround it is important but we have two of them and it’s nice to have changeable art in different places.

Q: Purchased the oak 55inch frame. read somewhere saying that there is a wood veneer vs others saying it’s metal w/ a wood like texture. Any feedback?

I purchased the dark walnut color and it’s metal with wood look. Looks realistic though with the finish. I believe the different finished would be the same material.
