Upgraded Lifetime Appliance WR17X23255 (Upgraded) Ice Container Bucket Assembly Compatible with General Electric (GE) Refrigerator

This drawer was a perfect fit to my older GE refrigerator. Glad I found it. Back dispensing ice.

Perfect replacement for my GE brand freezer...the GE manufacturer no longer sells this product

This lasted less than a month. First the ice jammed and we had to clear that all the time. Then the auger (cheap plastic) broke and sent plastic down with ice. We gave up and went direct to the GE site and purchased a GE product. It has worked perfectly. Don’t waste your money on this one.

We have had our GE refrigerator 12 years, and recently the auger which drives the ice to the dispenser had a piece break off, which left the ice delivery severely hampered; we often had to open the door and pull out ice directly. The bucket / auger assembly has been discontinued by GE, so this was our option. Thankfully, it was a direct replacement, slid right into where the original was, and has delivered both cube and crushed ice like the refrigerator did originally. Very pleased with this product!

like it it fit great

this ice tray is now broken in less than 2 months. The plastic ring in the back of the tray keeps falling out, and that pushes the freezer door open. I contacted the seller hoping they will resolve the issue. I will keep you all posted.. but for now stay away from buying anything from them
