Works as advertised
Not a particularly easy job to install due to its location on the rear-inside of the side-by-side, but that is to be expected. Sort of pricey. It works. Unfortunately, I believed the feedback from an on-line parts house that touted this item as the necessary replacement for the problem with a non-filling ice maker. My old valve was not the problem but I kept this one rather than go through the uninstall and reinstall process. The problem was in the gear train driven by a synchronous motor. That part was $28 and a five minute install job.

I bought this in April it did not work they ...
I bought this in April it did not work they sent another and it worked until a week ago. So I ended up getting about 2 months of it working before it quit.

Great replacement for my leaking Whirlpool water dispenser.
Installation went great - I found a whirlpool pump installation video on youtube that showed the whole process. My whirlpool fridge would pour water out of the dispenser every time the ice maker requested water. Replacing the inlet valve with this new one fixed the issue.
