The picture does not support your stated dimensions of 2.5 x 3.5 x 10 inches. Can you please confirm the size of this item? Thanks

From Vertx website: Size: 7"H x 4"W x 2"D

Does this have Velcro on the back so that it’ll stick to my commuter sling or is it just a loose pouch?

The small pouch has the coarse sided Velcro for compatibility with the Vertx Tactigami system. I have this small pouch in my Vertx EDC 2.0 bag. Holds very secure, just like the rest of their Tactigami system accessories.

Can I attach directly onto hook and loop

Yes. There’s a Velcro strap with it

How many of these pouches can fit in the back of a gamut backpack?

Honestly about 4-6. Decent size pouches about the size of an ipad mini.
