I would much rather prefer these over the plastic ones that came with my gopro session as this offers a nice thick shield of aluminum. It is quite easy to dent but thats aluminum for you.What I disliked about this product is how the back door is fastened. It relies on a single ball bearing to stay on a little pit made for it. The hole made for the bearing also seemed to be a bit too large in circumference and that made the back door rattle as you moved the camera. To solve this, I taped the back door to the shell. While this is not a great solution if you are going to be constantly taking your gopro out of the mount, This was the only solution I came up with to stop the rattling and to make the back door fasten securely (though if you have other suggestions please comment!)This product also came with a clip-like mount and a wrench. The mount worked just fine with all of my other official gopro accessories and the mount was adequate (although I feel like it might snap with every tight turn)

The case that you get when you purchase a hero4 session camera is plastic and breaks easily. But this case is not plastic! It is better then metal! And the design is very different. It is not the same as the snap on plastic case. To put your camera inside the case you need to slide out a metal/aluminium covering and then put your camera inside. Then simply slide the cover back on and lock it into place.

Fits my GoPro Hero Session perfectly. Before use, the back plate which secures the camera in the frame seemed unreliable, but after 500+ miles of riding on top of my motorcycle helmet (mostly at freeway speeds) it has not given me any problems and I am very happy with my choice.

Definitely not cheap looking but solid none the least. Careful not to bump it, could scratch easier than the cheap plastic ones you originally get from GoPro. But I’d rather have scratches on the frame than having the entire frame bust and lose my GoPro! Definitely worth the money especially if you put your GoPro through harsh conditions.

The door slides on and off find with no camera in. went ahead and tried to get my camera to fit in and slide door on. Doesn't work. after many minutes. was able to get the door ALMOST on. but the back button was pressed down all the way. Finally after getting the door back off ( while in doing so scratching back of session) I decided to throw this product away. Trying to find a different product that will actually work with Hero Session.

I have my camera mounted to a motorcycle helmet and in a small crash I had it fully protected the camera from the pavement and didn't break! See the picture.

If you have a GoPro Session this is a must-have. I use mine on my 4-wheeler where it gets hit by mud and dirt and it has held up very well. The camera slips in tight so it won't move all over the place in the housing. The only minor issue, but it is a positive too is, the latch/lock is a tiny bit of a pain to open, but because of that it really keeps the housing door locked in place. I have 2 of these and would definitely buy it again.

We brought this case after reading various reviews and weren't disappointed. We used it for canyoning up in Snowdonia, I was a little apprehensive to begin with as I wasn't entirely sure it would keep the GoPro completely watertight, but was really pleased with the case. As we were jumping off rocks from heights from 30ft into water and swimming up fast moving rivers our Gopro remained completely dry throughout. The image quality and sound wasn't affected either by it being in the case. I really recommend this case and for the price it's a real bargain.

Purchased as a cheap accessory for my GoPro to take on holiday. Used it in the pool numerous times on holiday and it never leaked so seems a bargain and hopefully can be used again in the future. Surprisingly well made considering the price.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Ho comprato questo prodotto per la mia Gopro Hero 4 Session per essenzialmente due motivi: andare in acqua (visto che sono brevettato per le immersioni con le bombole e, oltre a questo, pesco) e per proteggere il mio gioiellino quando faccio spostamenti o quando devo effettuare riprese pericolose, come ad esempio un'uscita in moto.Il case protettivo appare molto solido alla mano, la chiusura altrettanto (e la cosa mi fa tanto piacere) e la guarnizione rimane ben attaccata allo sportellino. L'inserimento della Gopro è rapido e veloce, la chiusura efficace e la cam non balla all'interno. Prima di fare il test dell'impermeabilità con la Gopro, mi sono assicurato che lo fosse davvero, inserendo prima un pezzo di carta dentro il case e lasciandolo in ammollo per un bel pò ( come da foto, eseguendo poi movimenti bruschi e l'esperimento è andato a buon fine. Così, ho fatto una piccola ripresa con la Gopro sempre dentro il lavandino per assicurarmi che i tasti funzionassero bene, con esito positivo.Ho gradito la presenza del supporto e della vite, utilizzabili anche al di fuori del contesto acquatico-protezione e con altre cam.Insomma, concludendo direi che per il prezzo pagato ci siamo, sono soddisfatto del prodotto e dalla mia esperienza mi sentirei anche di consigliarlo.Allego foto e video per rendere meglio l'idea del prodotto.Se la mia recensione ti è stata d'aiuto per conoscere o approfondire dettagli su questo case protettivo lascia pure un voto utile, grazie mille!

Really good little case, very strong and durable. Though its for a hero 5 session I was able to use my hero session in it so that's a bonus! Well worth the money
