I have a 7-month-old who is exclusively formula-fed, and the Nuby RapidCool has honestly been a game-changer for us. Anyone who formula feeds knows the struggle of trying to get the bottle to the perfect temperature—especially when your baby is screaming at 3 a.m. This gadget takes all the stress out of that! It’s super easy to use: I just pour in the freshly boiled water, add the formula, shake, and wait a couple of minutes. The built-in temperature indicator lets me know exactly when it’s safe to feed—no more guessing, no more cooling bottles under cold taps, and no more waiting around while my baby gets increasingly hangry. I also love how portable it is. We’ve taken it out on errands and even on a weekend trip, and it’s made bottle-feeding on the go so much easier. These were a game changer for us. We changed from breastfeeding to formula and were really struggling with how not "instant" formula is compared to a boob. We didn't want to buy a perfect prep machine due to the issues of mould and lack of evidence that it safely kills bacteria commonly found in formula powder. These were a great alternative for us as you can make the formula, when you need it with boiling water. These reduced the wait time significantly. I've read other reviews that say it shows green almost instantly and therefore must be broken, however they really do cool very fast. By the time you've poured the water and added the scoops it's already cooling. It says to wait 2 minutes but in our experience it doesn't take that long for smaller amounts. 4 stars for 2 reasons - 1. because the flask doesn't keep the water above 70 degrees for more than 4 hours. I'm not sure it claims to be but we often need it to stay hotter for longer, especially in the night. 2. The measurements are only in the white cooling flasks and are practically impossible to read. Especially if you're making it up in dim light in the middle of the night. Therefore we pour the boiling water into an empty bottle to get the measurement and then into the white flask. Annoying but not a big work around.

Purchased in July but have only started using now due to breastfeeding. Probably my fault for not checking the product when I received it, but one of the lids doesn’t work at all and the other needs to be tapped about 20 times before a light shows. The fill line markings in the flask are so poorly designed. You can barely make them out and you have to catch them in the perfect position in full light, so completely useless if you are in low light. Then when you pour boiling water in and the bottle steams up, good luck trying to see anything. The rapid cool bottles aren’t insulated which I wasn’t expecting, so watch out you don’t scald yourself when you make up the formula. First time I made it it took forever to cool. Second time it seemed to cool almost immediately, so something doesn’t seem right. Finally - you can’t steam sterilise any of the lids! So I now have to make up 5l of water with a Milton tab just to sterilise the lids. I purposely got a steam steriliser to minimise water waste! As for the bottles themselves, they’re even too long for my steam steriliser. Basically an overrated product and I don’t recommend.
