Quality Lacking
I own two pairs of Soybu Killer Caboose in black and love them. I tried the charcoal colored pair on at Sports Authority for size and quality and then ordered them here. What I received are quite different than what was in-store. The material is a bit thinner with less compression. Also, they are not as flattering as the in-store pair or my black ones. Another issue which concerns me is that they arrived without the Soybu manufacture tag. I have quite a few Soybu items purchased from Soybu.com as well as Amazon and they all arrived with their manufacture tags. Every Soybu item has a hair tie with the manufacture tag. Not that that's a big selling point for me, it's just that this item lacked that, as well. I'm disappointed and will not be attempting an exchange. I will just purchase from the source from now on to ensure that I am getting an authentic Soybu product..

Favorite yoga pants!
My favorite yoga pants by far! I am not one to spend $100 on yoga pants, I go to yoga for the practice not so I can wear cute yoga outfits. That being said, I'm 5'8" and usually wear small or med yoga pants. I bought these in small tall because the small regulars were just a tad too short for me (great with sneakers, but not with clogs).I also don't have much of a booty, have skinny legs and not much of a waist. I've found that with some yoga pants sometimes there's too much pants and not enough booty and that looks wrinkly and weird. But not here! These hug my behind and my thin thighs without wrinkles. The talls are quite long, but I had them hemmed to the perfect length and they are, well, perfect. The black ones are my favorite (lots of give, soft, but still huggy). The gray ones are more, um, stiff and not as soft. The grays are also a bit snugger in the top and thigh which is fine by me, but might not work for others.During class I will often pull the bottom of the pants up to my thighs to make a makeshift capri for certain poses and pull them back down for sivasana. These pants also fit into my tall boots and look pretty much like leggings.

Style, cut and sizing are perfect but the quality of fabric is poor
I have small, black soybu pants in this exact brand from 2016 from retail stores like Macys and those smalls run about 2 inches wider and longer than these ones. However, since I usually buy my clothes 1 size bigger, these still fit just fine. (I like them loose so they look like pants rather than yoga pants/leggings. I'm 5 ft 4 in and 95 pounds and wear a small in these pants). Just be ware that if purchase from this vendoro you might want to go up 1 size. This is a fabulous price as they regularly retail for $80 at Macys and Kohls. I'm only giving it 3 stars instead of 5, because although the fabric retains its shape (doesn't get all stretched out after wearing all day like some pants do), the fabric is pilly. I hand wash and line dry them, and after 2 washings they are already starting to pill. I am not hard on my clothes at all and the only exercise I do in them is walking and yoga, so it's not like there is a lot of friction or rubbing against the fabric that would result in pilling. I have Prana yoga pants that I have had for over 2 years, that I have even thrown in the washing machine and dryer, and they are not pilling at all. These are also a little bit higher than a true "low rise" but they are the lowest rise yoga pants (any pants, for that matter) that are now available ever since the trend for high-wasted pants has come back into style. The small is 8 inches from crotch to top of waistband and the back in 8.5 inches from crotch to top of waistband. The waistband is 2.5 in wide so it does not twist and lays flat, but narrow enough you don't feel like you have a belt on or some kidn of control top panty hose. The bootcut is very flattering. It's more of a min-bootcut. No worries here about a 70's flood look! If Soybu could just use a better quality fabric I would give it 5 stars.

Nice choice!
My favorite yoga/dance pants are no longer available- Gap Flex G Dance boot cut- the fabric composition (color, comfort, not shiny) was great and the fit was perfect- slim all the way to mid calf and then slight flare was perfect in my opinion. They lasted years. Until they finally became too thin. Alas- I was on the impossible mission to find a suitable replacement. These are not exact, but decently close. I don’t know about “caboose” lifting as I am very fit, and don’t see a difference but they are overall very nice. In my experience they run a bit large. I read the reviews that said they ran small, so I ordered a small- because a “compression” legging/pant needs to be tight to compress. I ordered tall because I’ve found that most run short- and these were plenty long. I rated them 4 stars because I don’t feel that they are as durable as my G Dance pants were. Otherwise they are comfy and fit the way I was looking for. I would buy again, but will go with XS the next time!

VERY pleased
Finally!!! Soybu to the rescue! I've ordered (and returned) so many different yoga pants from Amazon but I'm thrilled to say these Soybu Killer Caboose Performance Pants are not going back! I'm glad I caught them at a sale price because they are very worth it. Material similar to lululemon's luon fabric. Nice cut, extremely flattering, not too thin. Can't think of anything I'm unhappy about. For reference I'm 5'6, wear a size 10, ordered a size L in these pants and they fit nicely. I've purchased other items from Soybu and have been pleased with all of them.

YEP, YEP, YEP... BEST YOGA PANT EVA!
Yep, yep, yep... BEST yoga pants I've ever purchased (so far). Bought size XL ( I'm 5'6" & 150 lbs. with 34" inseam) and fit/length is perfect! After reading a few of the unflattering reviews, I was prepared to be disappointed... Just not the case. I do have to agree that the waist must be re- adjusted if you are doing a lot of bending/stretching, but not as much as other brands I've purchased. It's just the nature of the beast with a low-rise style of stretch pant. The product care is also similar to other moderate to high end brands... gently cycle and low temp dryer (or line dry for best results). But having an athletic family of four, I can easily fill an average load in the washer on gently cycle... so no water or energy waste washing one or two delicates at a time! Overall... great pant at great value (paid $28!).
