works well enough
Works well enough - happy with the price, just wish the top had a seal so that heat wouldn't get in!

Two failed attempts
We froze the liner for 8 hours and the premixed ice cream mixture kinda froze as it poured in but it never thickened. This time we left the thing on for two hours just to see what would happen, apparently ice cream develops the flavor of burning but remains same liquid consistency as it starts. The paddle also doesn’t lock in place so we jerry rigged the lid to hold the paddle in place. Was hoping somebody had some miracle advice to make the thing work. We are currently freezing the liner in our deep freeze for 24 hours before a final attempt of ice cream. All in all regret, i plan to repurchase our old machine (nostalgia, worked great for a few years)

Excellent little ice cream maker!
It worked very quickly, very quietly and the ice cream I made turned out very well!

Worked great for a single thing of icecream
There is a bowl/liner that has to be frozen for approximately 8hrs before you can use the machine and then it is only good for one batch of ice cream. It worked great for what we intended it for but it would be nice if it make two batches instead of one.

Paddle doesn't stay in lid to keep it stationary
Unfortunately the paddle moves and won't lock into the lid so moves

Doesn’t work
First use, the paddle piece broke, ice cream was not soft serve, a bit was frozen solid on the outside, but the inside was exactly the same as when poured in.

Up the creek without a paddle...
Paddle broke after the second use.
