New Ach 4 Points Chin Strap with Bolts and Screws for MICH and A.C.H Helmet

Very easy to install on ACH/MICH helmet. Actually used this to modify a CVC helmet. The chin strap is much more comfortable than the old PASGT one. If you've got a PASGT or an old CVC helmet and want to upgrade to a four-point, it requires drilling a couple of holes, but that's not such a big deal. Just use a 9/23 inch drill bit and go slow. Remember: plan three times, measure twice and drill once.

Did not use as it is compiicated to attach with no instructions included.

Easy to install and fit perfectly! The only issue I really had was them being very stiff, but hey, they are brand new and need to be worked in! I'd definitely buy again.

I ordered this with the Skydex upgrade kit not realizing the kit came with a Skydex chin strap. I guess I have an extra but will hold on to it as it does feel more comfortable than the Skydex strap and I may end up using this one in the future. Shipping was right on time and I'm happy with the product. Great job GruntGear.

for those who have crappy supply rooms this was the real deal and has held up time and again. I have used it on almost a dozen jumps so far and had no issues.

Used to upgrade my PASGT. Much more comfortable than the original 2 point chin strap. The hardware provided does not work on a PASGT without enlarging the holes in the helmet, but the strap can be mounted with the suspension system hardware without modification.

Had this new helmet harness sent to me to replace the used one in my personal helmet I got. I decided to purchase my own MICH helmet because of Tornado threats here in the south and you can spend your money on a cheap bike helmet or for $100 get a proven helmet to protect the knoggen during a storm.

This actual military-issue, four-point chinstrap will fit the PASGT helmets, WITHOUT HAVING TO DRILL, or enlarge holes. I used the original holes, and screw hardware from the helmet. For the front two chinstrap holes, I used the supplied, spaced nuts as sleeves, in order to secure the slightly different mounting hardware, for those holes. Was able to do this without drilling, or enlarging holes, possibly compromising the integrity of the helmet. I prefer the older PASGT helmets for civilian preparedness, as they cover more of your head.
