I’ve been living on the ground floor, toilet is beside the room and it’s really wet down there so needed a dehumidifier and found that this one is fairly suitable as it is reusable so I don’t have to keep buying the loose pack which costs a lot more!

I ordered this to use in my home office / 3D printing room mainly to keep my printing filaments dryer than they would normally be especially over the winter, when it arrived I realised that it wasn’t really meant for that type of job as the moisture absorber works independently from the base, the base is then used to dry the absorber ready for use again and again.I have a plugin dehumidifier which works well for our landing and adjoining rooms so I thought that this would work in the same manner.As it wasn’t what I needed I gave it to my daughter who has problems with damp walls in her rented home to see if it would help.She has been using this in the babies room and whereas before any clothing or boxes that were pushed back to a wall would cause mould and mildew to form, with this unit in place this has been drastically reduced. It hasn’t rid the room of every nasty but for what it is it works very well.The downside for me is that it only has one moisture absorber so when that is being dried it can’t be used, this device would have been much better to use if it were supplied with two of the absorbers so we would always have one available for use.That said, it doesn’t take that long to dry out once plugged on to the base however, that wants to be done in a well ventilated room otherwise, all it will do is evaporate the water back into the air, which would be very counter productive to say the least, lol.At the time of this review, this unit is on offer for £34.99 which makes this quite a cheap dehumidifier however it will only really work well in a very small area so I think it would be best suited for use in a larder, wardrobe or a very small box room that needs to be kept as a low moisture area, such as storing easily absorbing products which could spoil if dampness were to set in.Not for me but I can see this being useful to others.

I like the ideal of reusable, yes, it is much more expensive than the disposal ones, however, it can be reused for many times and makes perfect economic sense, and also saves a lot of the disposal ones going to landfill. I put it by the bedroom window to prevent moisture build up, it works well and saves me buying lots of the disposal ones, I would recommend it to my friends.

Absolutely rubbish, to be honest I was sceptical but got it anyway as I have issues with condensation and mould in the winter time in a small bedroom, roughly 4 meters squared. The windows are still covered. I understand how condensation works and there is plenty of airflow in the house, windows on the crack and trickle vents open, however, I did expect this to make a small difference at least, but nothing and with electricity prices now higher than ever I see the energy meter going up with this on drying for 6+ hours! I've stopped using it now.It is just cheaper to buy those salts from the pound shop but even those don't make any difference, so i've just gone back to wiping the water off in the morning like my grandparents use to!

This was an error on my part but I thought the price of the single / dual cartridges that they came with the base. They do not. It is £40 for the base with a cartridge and then you can buy additional ones which is what this pack is. I don’t think this is made clear. I can see the sense in having a few that you can then charge but the product description should be clearer.

If you normally regularly buy disposable ones then this will save you money. Very easy to use, so far I have no complaints.

This has been in my downstairs toilet where I get a bit of damp and so far so good!It’s doing the intended job,Easy to use,Reusable a lot of time!!

Love. Love. Love. Highly recommend! Better than I expected. Works great! 11/10 Would buy again. And again...I put them on the charger when I go to bed... Dry by morning... Come home from work... Put them back on... Repeat! Quiet. Nothing to worry about there. The color indicators are super helpful. : )Did I mention I love this thingie?!?! One in each room! PERFECT!

When I ordered these, I was skeptical. When I received them, they were smaller than I had expected. I was also leary about the construction. They felt flimsy and I was not sure if they would hold up to repeated use. They felt like those little green baskets you buy your strawberries in. I hate sending things back, so I put them to a test. My safe was having a notoriously high humidity. 34%. The safe is a Winchester 24 gun safe. I had been using the EVASAFE rechargeable packs. I started using the VELLGOO and realized they were needing to recharged almost every three days. Granted my safe has a 24" golden rod also. The humidity started to drop. It took about 4 weeks, and the humidity is now at 22%. In the past I had also installed Frostking "D" seals around the door to the safe, and tape sealed all the holes inside and outside the safe. I honestly did not see the humidity drop until I used the VELLGOO. I am just worried if I drop one they may shatter. I have some very high grade pistols. I also oil them, use storage oil and protectant, e.g. CLP, and use a Seal and Vac to store them as we have been threatened with flooding, a dam breakage, and other disasters. All in all Vellgoo has proven to be an effective desiccant.

I live in a very humid climate and this works great in small rooms with no outlets.

Da das eigentliche Produkt, dass ich bereits habe, zum Zeitpunkt des Bedarfs über mehrere Wochen nicht verfügbar war, habe ich mich für das hier entschieden.Es passt in den vorhandenen "Regenerator" (so nenn ich das jetzt einfach mal). Es entfeuchtet bei mir nur eine Kiste und das zuverlässig.Ein Stern gibt es abzug aufgrund seiner "Wobbeligkeit". Die Lammelen sind sehr flexibel und wirken etwas billig. So lassen diese sich leicht verformen und der gesamte Körper auch etwas verdrehen (Torsion). Das gefällt mir nicht.Aber es macht seine Aufgabe und wird auch kaum mechanisch beansprucht.

So far so good.. Timely deliveryProduct is well made and solves a problem with rechargeable dehumidifiers... its refill helps reduce cost compared to the all in one rechargeable. It's also lighter ( the actual refill) for packing in bags etc.Would be interested in a smaller size for such bags ..Have not yet fully tested the rechargeable function as it will take a bit of time to saturate.
