This hard-side cooler is the right size for carrying several beverage cans plus sub sandwiches or packaged food items. I put four cold cans of soda and three (quart-size) Zip-lock bags with ice cubes into this cooler for a test of the insulation. With the cooler at room temperature, there was still some ice that lasted 21 hours! (A similar-size soft-sided cooler had only a few small ice cubes remaining at 12 hours.) The bags must have had small leaks because there was some water in the bottom of the cooler, but no water leaked out of the cooler because of a hard plastic shell on the inside of the cooler. Pros: 1. Right size for our needs. 2. Leak-proof because of a hard plastic shell on the inside of the cooler. There is no soft plastic sheet to puncture, like in soft-sided coolers. 3. The top is securely held by the flat plastic part at both ends of the cooler. 4. Heavy-duty strap. 5. Some ice lasted 21 hours and the soda cans were still cold. Cons: More expensive than soft-sided coolers. You get what you pay for. Note: Some reviewers have stated that the strap gets messed up. That’s because they twist the plastic piece at one end of the cooler towards the front of the cooler and the plastic piece at the other end of the cooler towards the rear of the cooler. If you twist the plastic pieces at both ends of the cooler the same way, the strap will be fine.

Perfect for a quick daytrip to the lake or a quick picnic. Very cute and stylish and keeps drinks cold for a long period of time.
