LIRISY 4PCS Gun Magnet Mount
These magnet mounts are very powerful. And potentially dangerous. More on the latter, later. They are strong enough to hold a full steel semi auto, fully loaded (20 round mag) handgun. It may even hold two of them if there's enough room. Anyway, they;re strong.A few thing to know. The mount surface is not a very soft rubber as some of the other brands are. They are more like a plastic/rubber combo. It's not that big of an issue, but, a softer rubber would've been better. Also, as someone else has mentioned, the mounts are a little on the thin side. They're ok for handguns with regular height sights. Tall sights, like suppressor sights, they will not work as the sight will keep the mount from making good contact with the handgun. I made them work by adding a piece of 3/16 inch spacer between the mount and the mounting surface. It was extra work, but I did it so that I can use these mounts. After mounting the magnetic mounts, I noticed that one of the handguns was hanging a little off. I found that the mounting surface had a very pronounced bulge in it. I removed the mount and peeled off the plastic /rubber cover and found that two (there are four internal magnets in each mount) magnets have shifted from their designated position causing the bulge, which in turn, caused the uneven mounting surface. I tried to realign the magnets. While doing so, I was almost severely injured. The magnets somehow shot off in opposite directions as if they were shot out of a gun. I am very serious. I didn't know what had happened. The force was so powerful, it was unbelievable. That's when I realized that had they shot off in my direction that I could've been injured. I was not in the least bit happy. I looked for the errant magnets (projectiles?) and found them all over my living room. They had broken in multiple pieces and some of them somehow found metallic surfaces to which they stuck. If you do take the plastic/rubber covering off for any reason, wear eye protection. Better yet, wear full head protection. Even better than that, DO NOT DO IT!I will keep the good mounts (they seem to be working fine, for now) and hope to get the defective one replaced. What has happened in my case was probably a one of thing. I have not seen this issue mentioned in other reviews (I did not read them all, but read quite a few) therefore, I am guessing it was a fluke.Update: I received the replacement very, very quickly. This seller is very prompt. Will buy again. Thank you.

OVERALL EXCELLENT BUT THINGS TO CONSIDER
I rarely write reviews but felt this product definitely deserves one with some considerations...1. I bought the 4pcs since it is an unbeatable value at the advertised 45lb capacity. However, when I tested each magnet, not all of them hold the same (to test, I mounted the magnets to a 2x4 and picked up weights). The weakest magnet still held over 35lbs and the strongest easily held 45lbs. I think this is perfectly fair given the size of these magnets which is the next point..2. These magnets are THIN! Approximately the thickness of 3 house keys! If you're looking for a discreet mount, this is definitely it! However, if you have taller sights this may be an issue as they'll hit the mounting surface before making contact with the slide. Not a problem if you're putting the pistol on its side.3. The included hardware is rather weak as others have said but given the price, you can def buy some better screws if that's what you prefer. Gorilla tape is a good option too but bear in mind the max capacity of the tape will be less than that of the magnet.4. I saw some complaints about the detachable cover but it wasn't an issue for me. Definitely better than nothing and still low profile.Overall, this is an excellent product and one you should purchase if looking for a strong discreet mounting solution for a very affordable price.

Very strong and will hold your firearm...tight
The quality of the materials is great, the metal plate the neodymium magnets are glued to is solid and the rubber cover feels tough but they do not fit to well together almost like they were designed separately then joined together and sold as one but dose the job and will hold you firearm almost to strongly, and the screws that it comes with is the only thing that is cheap in quality. I would recommend this for rifles and shotguns but not anything smaller, You must get lower the strength down to mabe 30lbs for hand guns so it's not too strong and you will be able to remove it from the magnet in emergency times. Overall it does what it claimed and my only issue is the screws will stay exposed so they can scratch your firearm if not screwed past the rubber piece.*** (great Idea for the seller: make these with removable magnets so we can choose the strength of the mount to fit our needs, ie. 1-20lbs another 30 lbs, thank me later)

Works ok
Only works on glocks or guns with a flat slide so that excludes most of my guns. Works good on glocks tho

Works with some modification
The width of the area near the front sight has a small lip on each side that will not allow a full size service pistol slide to reach the base where the magnets are. Once these are filed down with the wall that makes up 99% of the holder it will allow the slide to actually reach the magnets and the pistol is held in place correctly. YMMV?

Worked Perfectly!
I got these for a co-worker as a secret Santa gift. He's into guns and he loved them. He ended up installing them on him and his wives bed stands and under the coffee table, with one extra left. He's kind of a gun nut and he loved them so I would have to think like minded people would be pleased with this gift!

Good value
These are great, multiple size screws comes for a variety of applications to attach to wall, under desk, etc. Firearms will attach easy without scratching. I don’t see these being used well in vehicle applications simply because inside vehicles are plastic.
