LG Electronics SJ4Y 2.1 Channel 300 Watt High Resolution Audio Sound Bar (2017 Model)

The product was easy to install. Basically plugged it in and it connected via blue tooth to the LG TV. The TV previously had speaker under the TV. Sound went everywhere but into the room. Now we have good sound in the living room at a low price. Very satisfied with this product.

Just bought this soundbar for my LG Flat Screen (that has terrible sound) and I love this soundbar! Because I have an LG tv it is integrated with the TV once you connect it (Volume on Directv remote also controls the soundbar volume). I was also able to connect the sound to my Iphone. Only downfall to this is you have to reconnect the soundbar once you do this. Also noticed when I pause Netflix for a long time, the soundbar power automatically goes off. I just have to go and turn it back on in the back of the device and it reconnects. So far the sound is very clear and loud.

Sounds great and was easy to set-up. Like the SJ5 it is running into an issue with the sound cutting out. See the reviews for the SJ5 for detail. I ordered the rear speakers SP4 kit to see if this resolves the issue. However, dropping sound b/c the soundbar is looking for rear speakers is a pretty bad glitch that should be fixed.Will update review after receiving and installing rear speakers.UPDATE: As mentioned in the comments, there is an update from LG (downloading from PC to USB, then installing via Soundbar) that fixes the issue. No need to order surround speakers, although I will be keeping the ones that I got because it does sound nice (the issue stopped as well prior to the LG update once I got them). You are getting what you pay for with this sound bar, it does sound great and fills up the room. Links to my LG TV flawlessly and feels well made. There are some things its missing like volume/sound mode display, but these are only minor inconveniences. It fits my needs perfectly, and if you order the surround kit it's real easy to upgrade and install and sound even better.If you have an LG TV to sync, you can set it to Auto-Power On/Off with the TV, which is really nice. I just recently bought a 4K LG TV, which is why I wanted an LG Speaker System for seamless integration and that's exactly what I got. Using the Xbox One, I can literally turn on/off everything with one button, extremely convenient.Overall, definitely satisfied with product.Pros: Sounds great, syncs with LG TVs perfectly, HDMI ARC compatible, upgrade to surround kit is a breezeCons: Display for volume/sound mode is lacking/non-existent, 1.4 HDMI port so cannot run 4K through soundbar (minor gripe), not the best AVR option if you have multiple inputsHighly recommended, just as mentioned if you get the sound cut out glitch, you can update off the LG Website w/out buying surround speakers.

Out of the box the sound bar and sub were able to link up immediately. If you have a newer LG TV it can sync via Bluetooth. The sound quality is pretty good and the bass really thumps. We have this in a 500 sq ft room and it more than fills up the entire room with clear, non-distorted sound with the volume only about halfway up. I was going to purchase the rear speakers, but it might be overkill. For the price, I would highly recommend.

I will give this product zero star. Although it sounded excellent, full-bodied and powerful, The sound cutting out every 30 to 45 minutes makes this product unacceptable for consumption . I've sent it back to express electronics for a full refund. I'll let you know what happens 06/02/17. Bought the same model from a different vendor (AAAA...)will see what happens.

I bought a new LG TV and found that the sound system that I had was not compatible with my new TV. So I bought this soundbar and woofer set, and I have no regreta. It pairs perfectly with my LG TV and turns on automatically when I turn my TV on. I especially like how I can use my TV remote to control the volume of the soundbar. On a side note, I got this product used as a Amazon Warehouse deal. There was nothing wrong with it at all and no defects - it was practically new-in-box.

The Bass is very weak in my opinion. Does not wirelessly hook up as advertised. Even with all lg equipment.

I absolutely love the sound, particularly the base. It fills out my living room when watching a movie, and adds to the experience. Music is awesome, both from TV and my phone using the Bluetooth feature. Totally worth every penny!

Tenía mis dudas con los aparatos reparados y con este se fueron todas mis dudas, la barra de sonido parece y funciona como si fuera nueva

Funcionó bien unos cuantos días. Luego comenzó a escucharse una bocina de las de la barra muy feo. Ha ido empeorando y ya cualquier sonido hace que chille mucho de uno de los lados. Lo compré en oferta pero aún así ha sido una terrible experiencia. Es el primer artículo reacondicionado que compro y ya no me quedaron ganas de volver a hacerlo. Primera y última vez que compro un producto reacondicionado. No sé los recomiendo.
