I almost sent this walking cane back because I couldn't get used to it but I figured out that you keep your hand towards the top of the handle and swing it as you're taking a step and now I love it!It won't stand on its own on gravel or blacktop but it does stand on the floor or concrete and it's a bit heavier than my regular cane.It was shipped very quickly.

I bought it for my mother and she loves it. It help her to stand more upright and get up easier. The only improvement she would make is for the base to be a lil larger.

I found myself leaning forward when walking with a cane. I looked for information on a cane that would force me to stand up straighter and found this which works great. It’s sturdy enough to use to help me stand and the handle gives different possible grips. My posture has improved and I don’t feel like a hunched back old lady!

Provides stability while walking - there's no need to lean from one side or the other, stands on its own while you are stopped, light weight and folds while riding in the car.

The only downside of this is that it needs better hand support such as a foam like cushion cover for the handle.

I've graduated from a walker to this wonderful cane. I'm 5'3" and adjusted it to fit me perfectly. The handle should be at elbow level according to the directions. I feel more stable and balanced as I am learning to walk again. It does stand on its own on my various floors (no thick carpets). I am very pleased with the purchase. I didn't expect to ever get a cane, but once I was walking without the walker I realized I wanted a cane to make me feel secure and balanced. Now I can relax and feel much less afraid of falling.

If you are at a point that you need to use a cane this is a great one. I like the fact it is upright and feels more like a walking stick

Quality is outstanding, very comfortable and allows me to stand up straight. I highly recommend to anyone that uses a regular cane, you won't regret it.
