Great fit, not see through!
These seem to be thin but they are not see-through at all. I have been wearing and washing the old pairs for years, still look like new with no shrinkage. I lost a bunch of weight and ordered new shorts, these are exactly the same. I do wish they were just a little longer but that's just me. While the shorts feel like they fit great, they could be a bit tighter in the waist band. I don't care for the "panty" leaves an odd indentation on your backside so I just carefully cut that part out of the swim shorts. Overall, they are great shorts, don't bleed color, don't shrink and they last for years still looking new.

Comfortable
Really like these. I've worn women's board shorts to swim in for years because I appreciate the coverage they provide. However, I've never been totally comfortable in them because they have no stretch.I needed shorts that cover but stretch comfortably. These fit the bill. They are very fitted but not tight and smooth out any bulges. I feel more slender in these and held together well.I got the 20 in black and they fit perfectly. My hips and bottom are pretty large. I'm 5 '8" and the shorts come just to the tops of my knees. I wish they were an inch shorter but at least they don't bind at all. They have a separate panty lining that I usually don't like but it's stretchy and keeps everything private, if you know what I mean. I've not washed them but if they shrink they'd probably still fit.For the price, I'd buy again.

Awesome swim shorts!
4 stars because these were somewhat large. I should’ve gotten the next size down. They were also long on me (past the knees). I am 5’4” with short legs. That being said, I LOVED these shorts. I wore them in Hawaii on a daily basis. They are comfortable, yet hold my (larger) stomach in. They are form fitting and not baggy like regular board shorts, which I love. I also love the built in swim bottom. I didn’t have to wear an extra pair underneath and have two waist bands bothering me.

Fits my classy, sassy, and big a...ttitude well ;)
I'm a woman with sass, class, and a lot of a....ttitude. being plus size (5'5 242 ish) with a medical issue that makes my weight fluctuate pretty wildly, I hate buying swim wear. (I'll gain as much as 12 pounds overnight.) I'm at a new job where the pool is a daily thing, so it was time to replace my 8 year old suits. After reading reviews I decided to get a pair of these shorts in the size "24" and in "22". They both fit very well, they wear like a pair of leggings, not super tight or restrictive like Spanx. The inner liner was uncomfortable /tight for my thigh crease and also in the lighter color bottoms you could see it (my son asked if I left my undies on to swim), so I cut it out. I have a pair in gray and pair in black. My best friend said the black seems to be slimming! They dry very quickly and have held up well so far. I would purchase again!

Poor fit, poor quality
These are fully opaque; however, the body fit is confusing, and the liner pants are not comfortable. Having only been worn a few times, they are already stretched out and very loose in the crotch. Oddly, they are very short from the crotch to the top of the waist band, especially in the back.

nice length for an exercise class in the pool
I am giving it 5 stars because they sort of fit, although I would have liked the waist to fit like the picture. I have not worn them in the pool because I got them for a class beginning next month. I hope they hold up.
