Works very well for large dog
We have a berniedoodle and these are the best clippers for his coat. Works very well on the body and the legs, of course we use smaller clippers for his belly, face and paws but these clippers are amazing. Are they heavy? Yes but switch hands once in a while and you’ll be just fine. Are they loud? Louder than a regular clipper but nothing crazy.Does hair get caught in teeth? Yes but not bad to take out and go right back to work cutting.Do they get hot? Yes a little but again not to where it overheats.

Quit working
I have several little dogs with very thick hair. I'd been searching for a good pair of clippers for their summer cut. After 2 or 3 duds, I stumbled across these clippers. They worked great but they are heavy. Since I only needed to use them once a year I figured it would be ok and not too difficult to manage the weight. I used them, cleaned and oiled them and put them up.Fast forward to now, approximately 8 months later....I decided to trim one of my dogs as his coat was getting too long and starting to mat......After bathing, drying and brushing him I pull out the clippers and plug them in....NOTHING. I'm seriously disappointed with this product and do not feel like it was worth the money I spent. BEWARE.UPDATE: Seller contacted me and offered a replacement which is great, maybe my experience was an isolated incident..... however the contact information I was given is invalid. The number rings 3 times and disconnects..... again....BEWARE.

Perfect Clippers for Thick Fur – A Game Changer!
Perfect Clippers for Thick Fur – A Game Changer! After trying several different grooming clippers, I finally found this one, and it works perfectly with the density of my dog's fur! The blades are sharp, the motor is powerful yet quiet, and it glides through even the thickest areas with ease. Grooming used to be a struggle, but this product has truly made my life so much easier. If you're looking for professional-quality clippers that deliver smooth and efficient results, I highly recommend this one!

Worked pretty good, but broken teeth on first use
Worked great at first, shaving a sheepdog. Towards the end, clippers weren't cutting as good and had to keep going over spots, then noticed several broken teeth on head

Durable, doesn't overheat, easier to cut through their fur, and comparable in price.
I have bought 3 other clippers prior to this one. I have standard poodles and their fur gets pretty thick and hard to cut. The other clippers couldn't stand up to their spring groomings. What I really like about this product it provides longer, continuous use without overheating and it's easier to cut through their thicker winter coats. It is more durable, but heavier and louder than the other clippers, but the dogs get use to the noise. I use the smaller clippers for their legs, feet and head. The price was the same as what I paid for the less durable clippers.

Worth the price
Pet and Livestock Professional Clippers: 25Jul19I have 11 dogs, 5 of which are very hairy with double coats. Some are long haired breeds which need to be clipped every other month except for January thru March. Other dogs have double coats (an under fur and a top hair coat). In the last two years I have gone thru two electric and 4 battery operated clippers with an average cost of $45 each (some were more and some were less) but none of the battery ones lasted longer than 6-10 months before they failed. One electric clipper totally died but the other electric clipper has gone dull and won't cut and I can't find replacement blades for it.As soon as I received this clipper I started on a matted, long haired dog that needed a summer cut. It took me a while to get used to these clippers as they are heavier than the cheap ones, are more noisy than battery operated ones and the blade gets hot. But these clippers really do the job! I was able to shave off most of the mats on the back and sides in two passes, clip the butt area and the tail, under the chin, and half way down the legs. I had to use scissors on the lower legs and paws. I used the clippers to thin the outer ear hair but had to scissor the mats off the under side of the ears. I did turn the clippers off occasionally to let it cool down, but I just trimmed the paws and clipped nails while I was waiting. The clippers come with oil which you must use about every 10-15 minutes to lube the blades; but you only need a drop or two. The cord is about 6 ft long. Cleaning is easy and it comes with a hard plastic storage case. At the current grooming price of $50 to $90 per animal, I only have to groom three animals and this clipper has paid for itself.Caution: These clippers are not for small dogs under 25 pds. The blade is too sharp and hot to groom little dogs of any breed. But, they would be good for use on goats or horses.

Loud But works like a beast
Machine is a BEAST very loud but super functional! I would say the machine is quality and heavy duty.I get my dogs groomed once a month and it’s usually $80/dog + tip which after taxes comes to around 190-200$/month. This product has already paid for itself in one go! Took me 1.5 hours to shave both my dogs down but it was also my first time I’m sure I could do 30 minutes per pup. Either way the machine in my eyes has already paid for itself. Highly recommend I even wrote a review…

Doesn't cut thick hair. Update.
Amazon did give me partial refund. I also got to keep. Not that I can use them. But it was beyond the 30 days. Amazon customer service did what they could do.Basically. I bought this in March for mypyrenee's dog. I had to wait until the weather. Stop getting cold. It finally did and I could not get them to cut at all. I would have to hold the hair up and push-up against it. There's no way it would get the mats that he had in his hair which weren't horrible, but they were there. And that's why I bought these more expensive ones. Of course, it has been over the 30 days so now I cannot get a refund on them and have not used for 5 minutes. I tried to and they just would not work at all even pulling the hair up and putting it up against it. My Andi clippers cut it way better than they did. My andi clippers are small and cordless. Do not buy if your dog has any hair thickness at all.
