What a disappointment..
Total piece of junk! Product arrived damaged...needle is crooked, oil all over the inside, the casing is cracked and painted over to try to hide the crack, and the software disk is warped. My son received this for Christmas and couldn't do a thing with it. What a disappointment...

Looks good, but...
A nice looking turntable, but it lacks weight, needs an immediate stylus upgrade and it would be nice if the strobe turned off. Save up just a bit more for a better deck, or buy used.

Not as bad as they say, but not made to last
For a poor person who has loved vinyl their whole life, this is great and affordable little table. I don't notice any of the awful surface noise that I have had in the past from crosley, and that review above saying that the needle tracks at 4-5 grams is a lie. I balanced my tonearm to zero, then tried it between 2 and 3 grams, and it would pop out of the groove. Tried it a little above three grams, and I'm on record number four with no issues, with real and complete silence between the tracks, no surface noise, and remarkably clear undistorted sound. So there is my defense, this player, when undamaged, is comparable to the common Tec 12.Now, the obvious drawbacks:1. It is made by Crosley. This means that everything feels and is flimy and cheap. Even the surface of the player, around the platter where I usually rest my hand as I'm picking up the needle, or changing a record, is flimsy plastic and will bow in, moving the platter around and distorting the sound as you try to adjust the pitch or grab the needle off of the end of the record. I'm quite sure that it is going to break soon.2. It has a s***ty auto-return feature that will ALWAYS pick up the needle before a 7-inch or 45 is actually done playing.3. The dustcover is heavy and shoddy, will always produce sound in the record as you pick it up or put it down.So there you go. It's a good player for about 2-3 years (unless it breaks before then), but by then, hopefully I will have saved up enough money for a proper and affordable u-turn set up that will last me for the foreseeable future.

High quality turntable. Has all 78/45/33.3 speeds. It has all the features you would expect from a studio quality turntable without the price.

Pure Garbage!
Horrible product. I picked this up cheap, and it was still too much. The platter turns with a wobble, the needle constantly skips, and the sound is pitiful. Do not waste a second on this. I wish I still had my $30 to go get a yard sale TT. Anything is better than this!!!

A great gift for someone you hate.
Sounded awesome for about 3 months, now it barely functions. "Pitch control" is garbage, the counter balance is dysfunctional to a point that's somewhere between sad and hysterical, & the belt has already worn to the point where the records are spinning at slower speeds. This was my second Crosley and will be my last.On that note—anyone know where I can buy a good record player?
