In order for this product to produce heat that lasts a while, it really needs to be heated(microwaved) longer than the directions indicate. Once you heat it, it is worth wrapping it in a blanket to retain the heat. Even at that, the heat lasts only about 10 minutes. Almost five minutes to heat, ten minutes to use - Hmmmmm - is it worth it?The product works if you do not need moist heat for more than 10 minutes. If so, order several of these. You can only heat them once every 2 hours.I was amazed at the moist heat, but I have to think there are better products out there that provide a consistent, longer term moist heat.I would buy more of these if they were less pricey.
