Perfect fit and worked as advertised
I had to remove the dishwasher from under the cabinet to be able to replace the valve. Not the valves fault, just couldn't get to everything any other way. I removed the dishwasher from under the cabinet and turned it upside down and it was then quite easy to replace the old leaking valve. Hooking everything back up was a pain but once everything was connected, we were back in business. No leaks and it work as expected. A+

Replacement for Miele Intake Valve
Overall pretty happy with this intake valve. I have a Miele Optima series that stopped taking in water. Suspecting the inlet value was bad, I cut out the old one and ordered this after seeing a few videos on youtube showing how it works.So, will it ultimately get your dishwasher working again. Yes. Durability wise time will tell, but so far so good.The one thing to really look at is how much room you have under your sink to install this. The Miele part is much smaller. I had to install an elbow to get the line away from the back wall under my sink. The result of that is a lot more noise when the intake valve is on. Its not the end of the world, but its noticeable and I probably wouldn't run the dishwasher when company is there.

This replacement part was a great fit. The mounting holes lined up for the screws, and the water inlet and outlet were set up in the right location.

With $5 adapter, this works fine instead of the >$200 Miele part
I used this to replace the intake valve for my Miele dishwasher. I have two Mieles; this is actually my second genuine Miele intake value that failed in 15 years. The first replacement looked just like this valve but was a genuine Frigidaire part. It's been going for 3 years, no problem. The OEM Frigidaire valve seems to have gotten a bit pricey as well, so I'm trying this knockoff.Saved $200 compared to the Miele part. I added an adapter, 3/8-IN Comp to 3/8-IN MIP and some pipe tape (only on the valve side) to hook this up to my water inlet hose. The adapter from Lowes that worked was a ProLine part labeled 3/8-IN Comp x 3/8-IN MIP CP-123NLB 877148. I had to cut the wires out of the Meile valve, and I didn't have the appropriate crimp ends for the electrical connection to this valve so I just soldered on the 120V wires.
