Pretty!
For whatever reason, this took me so long to figure out how to open! I was trying to take off the whole plastic piece when I suddenly realized (after way too long) that there's a little tab in the center of it that you pull to open a little hole. I'm surprised so many people seem to have found this messy as I think it's the perfect way to house a glittery powder eyeshadow (once I figured it out, of course). When I want to use it, I just put my finger over the whole and tip it upside down and then brush it on my eyelid with my finger. So easy and I haven't experienced any mess at all.The eyeshadow is really pretty and sparkly without being too much. It stays on my eyelids pretty well, though since my skin is a bit oily, it does look a little creased by the end of the day. But this is totally normal for me and eyeshadows.Overall, I think this is really pretty and easy to apply. I'd definitely purchase in more colors!

deep brown high shine brown-Ore
I would consider this product highly pigmented and very fine powder.Ore is a deep soft brown. Very shallow container3 starts for packaging. Opening the product with extreme care for the first time made a huge mess. The powder went all over opening the seal. Using the lid to close only then does not feel well sealed for such fine powder

Sooo pretty
This is so beautiful! I love that it is a buildable pigment, so I can make it sheer or dark depending on what I want. I normally have a hard time tolerating shimmery eye shadows due to eczema, but this one didn’t bother me. It is such a lovely quality.

Beautiful shade. Can use dry/wet. But overpriced for what it is
This comes in a little outer product box. Inside is the plastic jar. You get 1.3g/0.05oz of product. The lid twists off. There is a single hole in the center that the product comes out of. There’s a little piece of tape covering the hole. Once you remove it, it can be kind of messy. The hole is larger, so it’s easy to get enough product out to use. But, when it’s not in use, if it isn’t stored sitting upwards, product will spill out into the top part and you need to be careful when removing the lid not to get product everywhere. I keep mine in acrylic drawers I have, so it stays sitting upwards and I haven’t had any issues with it being messy. But, I’ve had other products like it and know it definitely can be.I got the shade “Ore.” It is a dark gold that leans on the warm side. It is very sparkly. Depending how it is applied, it can effect the finish you get. If you just use a dry brush to apply it on the lid, it’s a softer, sparklier look. If you apply it with a wet brush (pick some up with the brush and spray it with water/setting spray or spray brush with water/setting spray then pick some up on brush), you get more of a metallic finish. You can also apply a sticky eyeshadow primer or glitter glue and apply it on top of that, and also get a metallic finish. When applied dry, it is a beautiful, sparkly look. It’s on the softer side. When applied wet or on top of a sticky primer or glitter glue, it has more impact with a wet, metallic look. I prefer it wet or on a sticky primer or glitter glue. It lasts throughout the day better. When I apply it dry, I get fallout on the face during application and it kind of falls off onto my face a little throughout the day (not too bad, but noticeable).I think it’s a very beautiful shade and it’s a nice loose pigment. However, I think it’s pretty over priced. You don’t get a ton of product. Given the way it’s packaged, if you aren’t careful how you store it and open it, you can lose a lot. But, honestly, there’s not many different ways to package loose pigments. They always come in little jars. I’ve had some come in little jars without any cover with holes, so those can be really messy. I’ve had others come with smaller holes, but then the product can be a pain to get the amount you need out. I’ve had others come with multiple holes, but I always end up keeping some covered to avoid getting too much product out. So, there are different ways of doing it, but they all can be messy. As long as you store it sitting up, it doesn’t spill into the top area. Again, that’s the case with any loose pigment I’ve ever gotten. This is currently $17.89 at the time of writing this review. Getting 0.05 oz of product, that means it’s a whopping $357.80 per oz! I just don’t think it’s worth that at all. There’s other loose pigments that are multichrome that cost that price or even less in some cases. For just a simple sparkly loose pigment, I don’t think it’s worth $17.89. But, we all have different views on what price is worth it. It’s a beautiful shade. It’s sparkly. You can use it dry to get a softer, sparkly look or wet or on a sticky base to get a more metallic look. So, you get a little variety with that. But, there’s other loose pigments that do the same for less.

Beautiful color and easy to use, but a bit expensive for what it is
I ordered this Illamasqua Pure Pigment in the shade Ore. It’s a beautiful dark gold/brown shade, which is pretty true to its name. This product is a loose metallic powder which provides intense color payoff on its own. I like applying it by lightly tapping it on with my finger for a quick yet impactful look, but if you want to make the color even more intense, I recommend applying it with a wet brush. As with any loose pigment, there is some fallout to be expected, so when I want to use this I make sure I do my eyes before the rest of my face. It’s gorgeous and relatively easy to use, but I do think there are even better options available at lower prices, so I wouldn’t say this is the best value. If you really, really like one of these shades and want to slightly splurge, I would still recommend these, but otherwise, check out some other loose pigments first!

pretty eyeshadow
This eyeshadow is very pretty. I love the color I picked. I ordered the shade Ore. It's stunning. The color shows up well on my skin tone. It has a lot of sparkle. You can combine it with other eyeshadow colors, but it also works just fine on its own. Overall I really like it.

Beautiful copper/brown/gold color
The media could not be loaded. This took a long time to arrive but when it did I was very impressed by the beautiful metallic brown/copper/gold. It goes on smoothly and applies nicely both dry and wet. The only issue I have is the container, if you aren't careful when opening it...you'll get the pigment all over you. The way the container opens sort of makes it harder to keep from spilling out. I like everything else about it, it's shiny and gorgeous. Overall, I love it and would recommend it to others that love a good metallic pigment.

Worth the money!
Whilst smaller than expected the shadow goes a long way and a little lasts all day. Container has a handy central hole which protects from spills and helps regulate the amount used. This is a very good quality hyper allergenic shadow that lifts and brightens in a magical way.

Really nice product - Bad packaging
Spills everywhere due to bad container design - which is a shame as the actual product is great.

Love it!
This is great quality and price. Fantastic for face contouring, but you do need a bit of practice in application. A little goes a long way with this beautiful pigment.
