Q: Does this have a port to hardwire for an internet connection?

There is no port far an internet connection. Firmware updates are done via a USB port. That's as close to the internet as you will get.

Q: I'd like to download the recent firmware update from yamaha for the yas-207. i have a macbook pro and can't complete the process..need a step by step.

Download from Yamaha's support page (https://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio_visual/sound_bar/yas-207/downloads.html#product-tabs). Once downloaded the firmware will be in a folder, double click on the folder, drag the file inside the folder into a blank usb drive. Plug the usb drive with the file loaded on to the back of the soundbar unit. Q: My subwolfer wont auto connect or maually connect. I can't find how to call them.

Pairing the center unit and subwoofer manually 1. Turn off the unit 2. Press and hold the SUBWOOFER (-) key on the remote control for more than 3 seconds The DPL indicator on the center unit flashes. 3. Within 30 seconds, press and hold the pairing button on the rear panel of the subwoofer for more than 3 seconds. Once the center unit and subwoofer have been paired and a wireless connection established, the "Wifi" indicator will glow, and the center unit and subwoofer turn on. Q: I am getting constant random rumbling noise from subwoofer. It appears others are also facing the same issue. Any news regarding this?

It might mean that you have the subwoofer level too high. Out of the box, when watching broadcast TV, you would hear the rumbling from women talking.
