These elegant little clamps worked nicely on a delicate glue-up I was doing recently.

These are none other than Hatagane brand Japanese-made solid brass bar clamps. These clamps are NOT intended to be used for heavy duty, high pressure clamping, they are used for delicate hobby, model-building, light woodworking, and crafting on a small-scale. I have owned several sets of these clamps in different sizes, and still use them to this very day. They are the most versatile clamps I own, and their most important feature is the fact that they do not have a textured tooth that will mar your work-piece. When I bought this set from Amazon, it was literally half the price of the popular hobby-supply catalogs too, same Hatagane brand (a circle with a butterfly is the maker's mark stamped into the brass).

Good price, well made, just what I wanted

I really like these small clamps, they are extremely easy to adjust hood your items securely. Now these are very small units but they hold your parts in place for adjusting or gluing. I highly recommend them for the modeler or hobbyist. A little high priced but worth every penny.

I use these primarily for gluing up my Warhammer models, and they're awesome. They don't damage the plastic (if you tighten within reason), and they have excellent holding power. I'll be ordering more, you can never have enough!

These work great for my 3D wooden construction projects. Spend the extra buck and get these metal ones and not the plastic ones you may have considered.

I make handmade books and bandsaw boxes; so these work well for me. But they really are small.
