Laptop Charger for Acer Aspire V5-573 ES1 ES 15 ES15 ES1-511 ES1-512 ES1-520 ES1-521 ES1-522 ES1-523 ES1-531 ES1-532G ES1-533 ES1-571 ES1-572 Adapter Power Supply

I purchased this "Genuine" Delta 65W 19V 3.42A Laptop AC Adapter/Power Supply/Charger on 01/20/2014. It was delivered on 01/23/2014. It stopped working on 03/04/2014. Amazon informed me that they would not replace it because the warranty expired on 02/23/2014. Who would expect a new genuine replacement product to stop working in less than two months?I am definitely not a happy camper!

I read the specs for this unit and decided it was worth the extra cost. Other charger reviews frequently complain of short power cords and loose fitting plugs that pop out, and the absence of the ground wire (third plug). Some years ago I bought one of those units and it worked all right, but I remember it had no third wire for the ground connection which bothered me somewhat. (Does the unit need the connection or not? My factory original had the third wire, so it must serve a purpose.)This unit came with photos showing the third wire and plug. Other units show the third wire sometimes and sometimes not, and don't make clear whether it comes with these parts. And this one says it is made by an OEM supplier.There are no surprises. It comes with a right-angle cord like the original, with a cloth keeper ring like the original, and cord length looks like 10 feet or so. All connectors fit very snugly.

The cord fits very snug into the power input of the laptop. Power bridge has green LED light that lights up when active. Unit specs are exactly what the Acer Aspire 5532 laptop requires. No more, no less. Not sure if this is a factory OEM replacement or just really good replacement. For a great price ! Would recommend to anyone with the same laptop as me.

Snug fit so the connection keeps active. I had ordered a cheaper one and it constantly flaked in and out, breaking and reconnecting the connection. This was, of course, very frustrating. The model for my acer wasn't on the description so I wrote to customer service and they quickly answered my question and I ordered. Good job all around.

Lists Acer model, puts a yellow tab on the tip to go into the Acer as it should, but it's not the correct diameter and is sloppy when input. So, no charging would happen except 1/30 tries the led flickered for a moment. returned it.

Ordered this a while back and I am using it right now as I am writing this review. Probably even better than the original charger. It charges my laptop, has been durable, and I have had no issues.

I'm not sure what you can say. It's a power supply for my Acer laptop and it works great. It's lighter than my original charger, and just as black.The power supply doesn't get very warm and charges my laptop slightly faster than my original.If you need an extra or replacement this is a great way to go.

Purchased on Nov. 13, 2012It is like the factory power adapter. The plug fits snug in the laptop. It has a three prong power cord, which is important to me. Does not seem to run hot, it gets warm, but that is like all bricks. Seems to do its job well.
