Reduces messy stray grinds that were previously prominent when using the virtuoso. The lower profile also makes the grinder easier to use under my cabinets.The only downside currently is that the base of the hopper retains some grind particles that need to be cleaned between beans.

This worked great, but right away I noticed this was not going to work well with my workflow. Taking the rubber boot off each time to load my beans was a hassle. I really wanted a lid to be able to load. This said, it worked great to get the most grounds recovery.

It works for changing into a single dose hopper but the one-piece bellows is difficult to put back on the hopper. It should have a lid for the bellows like every other single dose hopper set up so that the bellows stay on the hopper when adding beans (roll eyes). Meh

Although the product looks nice and the small hopper appears an attractive option for individualising dosing I was a bit let down by the refitting of the silicone onto the plastic hopper.I note the top closed part of the silicone bellows is firmer than the bottom. This caused two problems. The fit is not as easily obtained onto the hopper and most importantly when the bellows is depressed the bottom end moves slightly allowing some coffee ground flakes to escape. At this price range I would have expected better quality. I had the much cheaper Aieve silicone hopper which I found a much less messy experience.The hopper design is not as efficient as the Baratza ESP Encore’s own hopper design, which feeds beans much more efficiently. With this product’s hopper there always seems to be a slowness in bean feed to the grinder giving you the impression that the grind is finished but maybe there is always one or two beans waiting to find their way down into the grinder.

This product with the full silicone cup (no aluminum lid) is a big improvement over all other options for the Encore. Unfortunately it did not fit out of the box because one of the plastic tabs was out of tolerance. Some filing was required to make it notch into the Encore properly. After that it worked well and does a good job clearing grinds which is important for single dosing. The full silicone cup means it also works well as a dosing cup. Applying silver or white marker to the grind setting indicator helps make it easier to see the current setting. Overall a good item and I would buy another one.

It does what it should on a Vario. Only holds enough coffee for 4 double shots so it may not really be worth it unless you're a fanatic about keeping your beans sealed.

The all silicon one seemed like a good idea and was cheaper, but putting it back on each time you add coffee was miserable. Bellow works fine. Fit into the Baratza was just okay. Just don't buy the all silicon. I would imagine the one with a lid would be much better since your simply popping that on and off. I also received one that was definitely returned. Wasn't put back in the box properly to fit and was held together by regular tape. I packaged it much better for the next poor soul who gets it though.
