Balerion Charger Cable for Casio G-Shock G-Squad PRO GSW-H1000 and WSD Series

the plastic cover around the plug is too short so when connected to the watch, there is a noticeable gap. the plug fits the watch and charges it but for the price, I was hoping that it would be more similar to the built and quality of the original cable.

One star is one stars too many. I purchased this as a spare cable for my CASIO GSW-H1000 smart watch, on arrival I tested it to see if it worked, plugging my watch in, which was at the time 70% charged. On plugging it in, the watch showed that it was charging, so I left it for a charge cycle. This is where the good times ended. Instead of returning to find a fully charged and ready to go sports watch, the screen was dead, and there was no sign of any WiFi or Bluetooth signal. I can only surmise that whatever electronic wizardry is in the original cable to prevent overcharging isn't present in this after market copy. Don't risk it. And Amazon, how come it's still being advertised as suitable?

Longer than the original charging cable with a stronger magnet, but if it grabs on to another metal object like keys while the charger is turned on, then it corrodes (rusts) badly.
