This float is by far the best one I've found for my 18 month old. We tried the standard life vest style and also the puddle jumper float, but both of those constantly flipped him onto his back to where we had to hold him the whole time while in the pool. Immediately after putting this on he was "swimming" around by himself. He plays and jumps with confidence and he doesn't mind wearing it either! I would highly recommend this if your toddler is younger than 2. My son is large for his age at 30 pounds and this still holds him perfectly. Wish I had found it sooner!!

This was an excellent purchase- Worth Every Penny! I bought one for each daughter. My 2 year old started with the entire setup and then quickly graduated to single tube. She LOVED it! She felt like a big kid and was a champ in the pool! It’s perfect because it’s like a shirt- you slide it on and has a little adjustable strap that snaps in-between her legs. The float kept her upright and allowed her to move around like the big kids! The other trainer floats I got- she didn't like- because they limited her mobility and was tight and constricting- she wanted it off. She literally learned to swim with confidence in 1 week at the beach with this- even jumping off the side of the pool into the water! My 12 month old- same story! The shade attachment was good for keeping the sun away too! I bought another swim set like this one for her because this set said 18-24 months and we did not like it- the big mesh one- it sit too low in the pool and when she looked down she would get a mouth full of water- and it cost more too! I quickly put her back in this one and it sits her up tall and no water to worry about at all! Honestly, after a few days- we removed the float part and put her in the single tube by itself but would hold the back as she kicked around. I would recommend this to any mom! I read some of the reviews before I bought it- so a bought a few of the swim sets (with 2 little ones and a worried mommy- I wanted to be sure I had something that would work). This was by far the best one! I tell everyone to go on Amazon and order it- don’t waste your time with the other ones.

This thing is the best!First of all, this is my 3rd child, 3rd baby to do lots of swimming with, and this has been my TOP favorite baby float ever used! Baby was so happy. He used the whole thing (vest & boat) from 15 months to 20 months. After that, he was big enough to swim and float and keep himself above water with only the vest float. It’s fall now, but if we could still swim he would be using the vest, he’s a month away from turning 2.He fits in a puddle jumper now, but he prefers the vest and so do we! I highly recommend this float combo! We never used the canopy so I have no review on that part of it.I had tons of people ask where we got this thing. Everyone wished their baby was as happy as mine in the pool! Get it!

The concept of this floatie is great but I think it was poorly executed. Or maybe it's a sacrifice in quality to keep the price down... the outside floatie seems to be good quality and holds up well. But the vest and the floatie you put on your child doesn't stay inflated. It visibly looks deflated seconds after blowing it up. The little plug is plastic as is common with cheaper quality products and pops open. I have purchased others from this brand that have a cap that screws on versus the plastic plug. I can't use the inner floatie by itself so not really 2 in 1 from my experience. Pretty disappointed with this one.

My son is very small for his age and is very reluctant/scared to swim. We tried different life jackets and puddle jumpers but those did not help him feel comfortable at all and would force his body to lean too far forward or backwards. This product, however, worked great! He is able to wear both pieces and has more confidence because he’s more stable in the water. I stay right next to him still, but this has given him a bit more independence and we both have an enjoyable time. I liked this so much I bought another one for my 1 year old daughter as well!

I had just the tube for my son. Was great for learning but needed to tend to him constantly because it’s not made to be fully secure. I bought this one for my daughter because I couldn’t find just the tube and this is so much better. The added tube allows for the best of both worlds. Glad I bumped into this item. Highly recommend.

The only reason i gave 4 stars if the strap placement between the legs. It was in an uncomfortable position for a boy especially. Just one strap between the legs. Also the fabric tore the first time we used it in the insert. I flated well though and was secure and safe. He would not tip over easily at all.

I got this for my 14 month old neice. We have a pool, and I am very pool safety, crazy! This comes with two devices for her for this summer and I am beyond happy right now..
