I needed to replace a tatty old MDF door strip, checked the reviews and went for this..I left it unrolled overnight underneath something heavy.. then when it was flat, it cut easily with scissors, peeled off the backing strip and put it in place.. I have for extra grip on the door ends also put some double sided tape on, in case it lifts... Only 4*.. I've yet to see how it wears, it's a high traffic area,hall to kitchen..Also it doesn't look like wood although there's a slight effect on it.. but it's going to be durable, hopefully..

This is easy to cut. It was perfect to bridge the transition from conservatory to kitchen wooden flooring as there was a slight variation in height at one end. Seems to have stuck down very well.The grey wood effect is accurate. We choose it as we have grey wood effect worktops in the kitchen.

It’s hard to match colours but the grey is much darker than in the photos.It is not as sticky as I expected and will need to add glue for it to stick properly.Otherwise the product is really slim which is a must when you don’t want to trim your doors, and it’s also very easy to cut.So overall it is a decent product

Replacing an existing threshold strip without the hassle! Simply measure cut with a Stanley knife, take off backing paper and fix in place it couldn't be easier! it also looks better than the metal ones, much neater and attractive.

The strip came rolled into a tiny roll. Put it under a heavy top for weeks try to flatten it, still curl up a bit but what is worst was because of the strip being rolled up for a extended period of time, the edge became curled up. No way to flatten it and it won't stick to the floor because it was on the edge. A complete piece of rubbish!

I bought this to replace a cracked door strip between two rooms. Although the gap was fairly level, there was some faffing needed to get the roll to fix.However, the strip is cut easily and fixes very firmly. It's been down about a month or so, and despite getting quite a bit of hammer, looks in better nick that the door plate did after a month.With the length of the roll being fairly generous, there's enough to do at least two more doorways if needed.Update: the strip has been fitted since November 2023 and it's still well fixed. There's not many signs of wear and this seems better than the hard plastic plates available.
