So to start actually went into oreck looking for a vacuum unfortunately with situations going on they had barely any oreck vacuums available. So I explained what I was looking for and what I had found on Amazon. She said that's one heck of a deal grab it up. Besides that this vacuum is doing exactly what I expected. The only issue I have is the carpet lint I have. I bought a new home and don't believe the carpet was combed after the sellers had it put in. The vacuum can't handle all the extra lint.

Worked great the first month or so. Now (purchases 4 months ago) the suction is poor and I have to "clean" the brushes after every use (twice a week) because hair is slowing down the brush. There isn't much hair to begin with! Very frustrating. This is the 3rd Oreck I've owned, the other 2 were 15-20 years old before any issues

Vacuum cleaner works well, and I like the option of two speeds. However, there's no way to turn off the beater brush on hard wood floors, so it limits where it can be used.

At first I loved the vacuum. I still do, it just requires a lot of brush cleaning. The light has never worked. And I wish the cord was a bit longer. I would purchase it again, but I would purchase the extended warranty. I don’t know how to contact the seller.Update: the vacuum is now smelling like burning rubber. I have owned many Orecks and this one, while pretty it is not a great machine.

I had an Oreck XL for many years. It finally died. I bought the Oreck AXIS and I love this machine. It's light weight and the swivel ball is fabulous. No more picking up the vacuum to turn it. This thing practically drives itself. And it takes the same bags as my old XL. It came in two days and was super easy to assemble. Just slide the handle on and tighten the collar. Done. Add in the free shipping and how happy could vacuuming be?

I do not like that you can not use it on vinyl floors, I did not know that when I bought it.

I Love My Oreck,its light has an extra long cord,makes it easier.I don't have to keep unplugging as I go from room to room.I use it every other day,i have 2 dogs,& it really gets all the hair.Thank You for a great product.:)
