This table base is pretty affordable and does what it says it will. You have to assemble it. You're box will almost certainly come beat to hell, but my items were A-okay. I recommend using a large washer to interface the large square nut and the all-thread rod that travels the center column of the table base. The casting is fairly rough and I read reviews of people stripping the all-thread by over tightening the nut. So, proceed with caution. But my project is well under way with the base fastened and is holding up well. The leveling pads on the feet leave a lot to be desired. They need to be adjusted periodically as they will come out of adjustment through regular movement/use. But, I think that is par for the course as far as these go. I fastened a 3' x 4' table top. The 4' dimension is a bit much. If the table will live in an unforgiving environment (kids/drunks) I'd stick to the maximum 3'x3' recommendation, or grab two 2-prong legs from the same manufacturer. I tested the 3'x4' at a local restaurant that employs this same combination and it was as expected. Stable enough when elbows rest on the 3' side, but the 4' side is a little much. I turned my feet 45 degrees to help in this way, so that the long direction would have 2 points of contact/support beneath it. If that's unclear, here's another way of describing that.. Instead of lining the feet up with the top, meaning one prong points squarely to each end, I turned it so the prongs point to the corners. This way, there are 2 prongs under each long end. I'll update with pictures as soon as I finish the table top.

I had an old wooden table top with no legs that was useless. This restaurant table base has turned it into a useful table at holiday time for the crowd. Sturdy and easy to install.

A great replacement for the base that broke on my table. Very easy to install, sturdy, and matches the rest of my tables 🙂

What I received seems sturdy and well made. However, I only received the base. No column, no plate for attachment, no hardware, only the feet/base. I was really looking forward to using this product to bring back and old tabletop, but I am stuck with missing pieces. I have called and left a message to Flash Furniture and hope to hear something soon and the issue gets resolves.
