does the job
This is the only kind of door mat I like. I've had several of them, in different homes (we forgot to bring the last one when we moved, and had to buy another), and recently bought another for a friend's vacation home at the beach. These mats never wear out, the dirt and sand fall right through, and when you feel like it you can pick them up, sweep away the debris and start over. They don't hold water, do a good job of cleaning the soles of your shoes or boots, and on top of that, they're recycled. What's not to like? (If your shoes are wet as well as dirty you'll need a blotter type mat or rug inside the door, since this mat doesn't absorb moisture but it does remove debris.)

The best outdoor mat
Living in Florida, every door mat I have owned has fallen apart in quick time due to sunshine, rain moisture, and mold. This door mat is the best!! Durable, and now is 2 years old and looks like new. I hose it off in the driveway to give it a yearly cleaning and it looks like brand new. This mat is worth every penny. I get people asking where I bought it, because their mat has fallen apart or faded or both. You get what you pay for, and this mat is top of the line for durability. My dog walks on it with no problem either, just FYI.

Well made
We had a mat much like this one that lasted 50 years. We like the way it hugs the porch even in high winds which we get now and then. My husband likes the way dirt falls right through so when cleaning up all he has to do is pick up the mat and wash the porch off. I like that it is made out of recycled tires. The quality is as good or better than our old one.

I'm glad they still make these!
My childhood summers were spent on my relative's dusty ranches in Texas, and they had these to keep the outdoors from entering the house. Very rugged and durable. Worked great. Now I live in the country in California, with no grass, only dirt and mud, and the best mats I could find were flimsy and useless decorations, until I found these on Amazon.I bought three and they sure do work! Dirt falls down and stays outside.I just clean them now and then with a shop vac or leaf blower, but I guess you could also roll them up and use a garden hose.A little pricy up front but cheaper in the long run not to keep buying flimsy mats that don't work.I would say I will buy them again but I doubt I'll have to.They'll probably last longer than I will.

NOT MADE IN THE USA!
I purchased these because it clearly states in the description, "Country of Origin, USA". Imagine my surprise when I cut the tag off and it said, "made in India". I should have known better because of the price point. We wanted two additional mats to line up with our current mat to make it safer on our front porch. I use a cane and fell down after Hurricane Beryl passed by. These mats are thicker than our first mat; which means we will have to be careful and lift our feet like a horse going over cavaletti. They are nicely made, shipping was very fast. However, they are not made in the USA as advertised, and I would have looked around more if I had known better. SHAME ON Y'ALL FOR DUPING AN OLD LADY!

Not quite what I wanted.
I wanted a a totally rubber mat. This has a cloth covering on each top strip that stays wet.

Perfect for keeping out dirt.
After trying many different mats by our backdoor we tried this one. It is perfect for keeping dirt in the garage and is easy to sweep under it by moving it. It is heavy when I have to move it to sweep but I don't mind as the dirt is under it instead of in our house. I LOVE THIS

Best type of door mat.
(reason for 4 stars at the end) I've been buying this type of door mat for many decades and they are getting hard to find. Stores don't carry them because they are heavy and bulky to stock. The nice thing is the dirt goes through them so the top stays relatively clean. I just clean under them a few times a year. They are great for wet areas or doorways that are open to rain because of the thickness. This is one of the few companies that still sell them. I again got a well built mat and expect it to last as long as my previous mats which is decades. I don't understand the poor review on it.I docked it one star for the shipping. It was 20 days before it shipped and then it was sent to the wrong city and delivered to the wrong person. I contacted the seller via Amazon and they shipped me one UPS express and I got it in 3 working days. I will order again if I need another one.
