After managing to leave the regular kettle on the stove (to the point of boiling dry) twice in a year's time, I decided we needed an electric kettle. We tried 3 other brands before landing on this one. I loved the others for their style and features (e.g., smart temperature settings, 30-minute keep warm function, etc.), but 2 of them had burning/chemical odors that did not dissipate after a few weeks of use (one Krups, the other Beautiful by Drew Barrymore), and the 3rd (Cuisinart) had a cool-to-the-touch handle but the body of it was scalding if your knuckle (or a child) accidentally touched it. This Westinghouse kettle is 100% cool-to-the-touch with no odor whatsoever. Sure, it's a little slower to boil than others and it has no fancy settings. And yes, the spout is just slightly too wide so it does dribble down the side a bit. But even without the stay-warm feature, it stays warm for at least 30 minutes because it's so well insulated. Plus it's safe, and doesn't reek, and looks nice to boot. I hope it lasts a long time! So far, we've been using it multiple times a day, every day, for about 7-8 months. No problems whatsoever.

This is a great water cooker. The design is sleek and it heats up fast. Its pretty. The metal inside is great since we have hard water.

That Katelyn was to replace another one that did not look as expected. The design is very sleek and shiny which matchs the look I wanted into he kitchen. It heats very well, my only thing is I wish the spout was more pointy, it's rounded spout have the water drip after you pour.

I liked that one, it's fully, metal, has good insulation, and keeps the temperature long enough. Hope the plastic will last long.

Use in my bridal loft for bridal parties. Works fantastic!

It heats up my water real fast it’s pretty and unique to me overall, I just love it

This is a good cute product, but it is slow. It takes 8 minutes to boil water when full. You can do it faster on the stove.I expect kettles to be faster

I’m so sad about this kettle. Looks similar to the design of my SMEG kettle which is why I purchased it. Much lighter however which is a huge plus for me. Boils fast and efficiently.Here’s the big draw back and disappointment… the spout pours all over the place! No even distribution of water when pouring. one has to be really careful when pouring . You must hold the kettle at a very very specific angle so that the water doesn’t go everywhere. Such a shame because Westinghouse is usually such a solid company and I still have some of my Grandmothers Westinghouse appliances..
