Smartish iPhone 8 Plus / 7 Plus Clear Case - PUREVIEW Protective Slim Grip Cover - Queen of Diamonds for Apple iPhone 7+ / 8+ - [Silk] - Crystal Clear

I’ve had this going on 3 weeks now and I am very happy with this case. I usually get the super thick, clunky ones because I’m terrified of destroying my phone, but i took a chance with this one for my iPhone 8 Plus and have not felt bad for doing so yet. The case is quite grippy and all the buttons are so easy to press. I got the clear because I’ve got the product red iPhone and I like being able to see the actual color of the phone through the case. The diamond/fractal design on the back is really pretty and I love how it makes the phone and the apple symbol look. I did receive my case with a Super tiny defect, it seems the speaker opening was cut just a little wonky, but it’s so tiny and hardly noticeable I am not worried about it at all. I love this case. I did have a small lanyard from some other fob or device I bought and looped it through at the bottom - just for peace of mind, I like having something around my wrist while walking around or taking photos (out a window, over water, etc.).**if Silk reads these reviews, PLEASE PLEASE make one that has a spot to tie in a lanyard. I love your cases but I am always so paranoid about dropping my phone that a small lanyard just makes me so much more comfortable!

I first purchased a Silk Vault Credit Card Case for my iPhone 6 Plus in black. I used it ALL THE TIME and found it hard to go back to normal cases, even durable, stylish ones. The only setback I had was that my phone was black, as was the case. I occasionally overlooked my phone when it was on a dark surface. When I upgraded to an iPhone 8 Plus, I thought I’d try Speck Wallet case in my favorite color, teal. I had their Candyshell Grip before and really loved it. Unfortunately, they changed their grip and found that the edges peeled. So I went back and purchased another Silk Vault case, this time in purple. Still loved it! But I wanted to branch out and have a non-wallet case for my phone and decided on this diamond case. I love that it’s clear, has a good grip, and has a textured looking back, even though it’s smooth to the touch. I highly recommend this case, but especially the Silk brand. It’s excellent quality and definitely affordable. I will always have a Silk case for my phones.

I got this product a few hours ago.I like this case for several reasons:1. It provides a grip so the phone doesn’t slip out of my hands,2. Fits perfectly,3. Not bulky,4. The diamond design on the back gives the phone a nice touch and sleek look, and5. The clear case highlights the beauty of the gold, iPhone 8.The only thing I don’t like is the screen protector provided. Either the wrong one was put in the case, or it wasn’t cut the correct way – the protector covers the microphone in the front (the centered circle on top). This is very frustrating to my OCD self. I had to buy a separate product, hence why I rated 4 stars instead of 5.I’ll update if anything changes.

Purchased to replace a one year old Speck Presidio case that had gotten too slippery. After one month this case is still 'grippy' and provides handling confidence. Look good too; the diamond pattern back is attractive and obscures the inevitable scuffs; the Presidio was completely clear and was looking quite worn after a year. The buttons work well too; with the Speck they were a little stiff by comparison. This case however probably won't protect quite as well from drops as the Presidio since it is noticeably thinner. But it hugs the phone well and has 'protective enhancements' on the corners, so considering that the added grip reduces the chance of drops, there's the tradeoff for protection. Great for small hands on the larger iphones. Recommend for anyone wanting a minimalist clear case providing a good grip and with decent scuff resistance.

Feels great, not slippery in my hands. Have yet to drop it so can’t attest to durability, but easy to put on and take off while still fitting great on the phone. Comes with a screen protector but is difficult to line up and get exactly right without a guide, which also makes it easier to trap bubbles under the protector. All in all would buy again, just wish the screen protector was easier to line up and put on with no bubbles.

Nice and slim, so it doesn't add too much bulk to an already outsize phone. Just the right amount of sticky grip, so it doesn't readily slide out of my pocket and feels secure in my hand. And the little pyramid or gem pattern which you can see but not feel on the back of the case is a great visual touch. I like it a lot and feel I got a great value for my money. However, I have been using the case only for a week or two, so I cannot comment on its durability.

Just received this and have it on my iPhone 8. At first I thought it might be too small but it fits like a glove! Love the diamond cut design on back! Can’t see finger smudges!! I have had to return numerous covers because the edges on the openings of the bottom were too sharp. These are not. Very smooth edges. Easy to push buttons for selfies. Looks like the corners are reinforced too! Already have a screen protector so did not apply that but it comes with it.

A good quality product, with good fit and good design. However, the material did not have a high coefficient of friction, and did not keep the phone from falling out of my wife’s pocket. She still needs a rubber band around it to keep it from slipping and falling.

Like all soft clear plastics, this turns yellow with time! However, the company is great, they have really good customer service.

It has lasted for almost a year already with little sign of wear!
