I used this harness to put in the aftermarket radios in the John Deere tractors. It allows you to get rid of the damn Delco junk John Deere installs from the factory. And save you from purchasing a $700.00 Delco replacement.

This wiring harness was EXACTLY what I needed to finish installing a new car stereo in my 2003 VW New Beetle. The last wiring harness that I had ordered from Amazon had to be returned because it was incorrectly described. This one was not only a perfect match but it actually cost less than the previous one I had ordered.The documentation isn't anything elaborate. It doesn't really need to be though. It's just a color chart printed on the back of the package. If you've ever installed an aftermarket car stereo before you should have no problem installing this. Best $6 I've spent in a long time.

This connector enables the installation of a wide range of aftermarket head units into cars that use the VW-style connector. These include BMW, Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, Chrysler Crossfire (a thinly disguised Mercedes SLK), and other cars. Simply wire this connector onto your aftermarket stereo power/speaker wires following the international color scheme (and most importantly the instructions in the aftermarket installation guide) and you can plug your aftermarket stereo into the cars factory wiring harness.Using this connector prevents cutting up the car wiring, which makes it easy to remove the aftermarket stereo later if you decide to keep with when you sell the car. I ordered this pigtail harness to install an aftermarket stereo in my 2003 Volkswagen Beetle. It was perfect and even included sound advice regarding the K line wire, with the blue k line wires separate from the complete harness. in the package you get:-wire harness pictured here with black connector and multi-colored wires-one blue K line wire with male molex attached-one blue/white K line wire with male molex attached-connector diagram with suggestion and cautionary statement regarding K lineon newer Volkswagen vehicles the stereo can interact with a dealership scan tool via a blue or blue/white wire called the K-Line. aftermarket stereos are unable to use this so it is typically not used and intentionally left separate from the harness.good buy.

Used to install aftermarket radio in my Mercedes SLK R170, same connector but the wiring is slightly different, but I managed to find a diagram and convert it with not too much work.

Bought this connector for my 2003 VW Jetta as it says 1986-Up Volkswagen. Totally different connection than my Jetta has, returned right away. Wasted my time. It has to be described better!

I bought this connector for my 2002 ML500. Needed to wire my trailer hitch and the vehicle has an a wiring harness adapter that matches this product. All I did was remove the unused wires from this product and solder the wires to the trailer wiring module. It was a perfect and simple solution without altering the factory wiring.Very happy with the purchase. The price is very reasonable as well and I got free shipping to boot!
