Amazing Quality and Product
Anything less than 5 stars on this is ridiculous. It's heavy-duty, great instructions, and easy to install. I couldn't believe the weight of the box when it arrived. We are project/remodel people and built our own door. This hardware is one of the best products I've seen in a long time. It rolls smoothly, has bearings for the rollers, the hangers are beautiful and sleek for me and built well for my husband's skeptical construction eye. He was skeptical when I showed it to him online, but as soon as he picked up the hanger, felt the weight, and saw how smooth it rolls, he was impressed, as was our uncle who is a woodworker. Photo will be added when the door is complete, but suffice it to say, very impressive hardware to go on our new 45" x 90" custom walnut sliding door.

Modern look
My handyman and I installed the kit together. We didn’t realize how huge the size of the support bracket hanger attachments were. I can’t remember if we used a 1/2 or 3/4 in drill bit to make the holes. The directions didn’t specify. Although 3 spacers were included, adding additional ones would have been helpful to properly fit a standard sized barn door without gapping. The rod brackets fit nicely and the door slides from side to side effortlessly. Installation took longer than expected and required 2 people. The quality of the kit itself is supreme. It is durable, solid, and very modern. The price was also reasonable, especially when compared to the local home store. The quality of this item is definitely better than the local home store by far!

Just what I needed for 1/4 the price!
So I have a 1960’s house with 8ft ceilings. I needed a low profile barn door but the 2 inch or less hardware is 400 plus dollars. I had 4 inches if that. For the price I thought I’d try this first. I did two 24 inch doors with the extra kit. Like everyone else says, hardware is top notch and heavy duty. With all the reviews I was expecting to do some NASA level calculations. Was pleasantly surprised how easy they went up. One thing I liked especially is the supports for the railing can be spaced anywhere so you can match the stud locations, no 1x4 board to mount so looks extra slick.

Looks outstanding once installed. Door selection can be tricky.
This is a nice kit. The stainless looks great. Installation is fairly simple. At least if you know your way around the toolbox. This kit doesn't include doors and finding some to suit your needs will likely be the biggest challenge. The kit suggests doors measuring 36x84 inches. I have 3 different hardware stores in my area. Lowes, Home Depot, and Ace Hardware. Not one of them had doors with these measurements unless it was a complete barn door kit and priced between $300-500. And that's for a single door, not a double. I just bought two 36x80 slab doors from one of the local stores and using basic carpentry skills, extended the doors a further 4 inches. The other issue is door thickness. I used 1 3/8" thick doors which is a little thin for the include hardware. For this I went to the local hardware store and got some nice stainless steel washers. This worked perfectly and they even look like they came with the kit. They should actually just include something like this in the kit. The doors roll back and forth with a buttery smoothness. I can't explain enough how liberating it is to not need the clearance that a hinged door does. If you're on the fence about buying this, just go for it. You'll wish you had done it sooner. The instructions could also be better.

Good looking rail system
Get a laser level if possible. The two piece rail will look crooked if misdrilled. The directions are semi helpful. Lots of measurements are needed for best fit and placement of rail supports depending on door dimensions. I love the clean look and it slides very smoothly even with a heavy door.

Well made, sturdy and glides smoothly
Works really well. Glides great and our door is very heavy with 4 glass inserts. We did not need to install in a board. Works well with our trim using the 3 spacers provided. Just make sure you have clearance with the door pull on the back side. The brackets can be positioned where you need them. That’s a great feature. The finish isn’t quite as shiny as shown -but it’s nice. I’d prefer chrome to match other features but t works well.

Hung up on these
Very well made hardware. Hung 5 sets of barn style doors. And they look great. Really set the doors off. Major points with the wife.

PERFECTLY HUNG BARN DOOR, CHALK LINE PREP WAS KEY.
I SOOOO enjoyed this DIY project. Extremely happy with quality of the hardware and price paid. My door glides very smoothly along my navy chalkboard wall. The night before I read instructions and chalked my lines horizontally and vertically to center the doorway. Had bought my primed french slab door at big box store "L" $140 with free delivery. Measured 4-5 times for all points. Using a triangle was very helpful esp. on holes to hang doors. Next morning, remeasured everything before drilling holes. Hardest part was improvising for a router, to install the guide for bottom of door. Ended up using a circular saw, drill bill, sand paper and did the trick. I did have to get my husband to do some of the heavy lifting. Otherwise, I was able to do everything else myself.
