Incredibly bright bulbs. I bought the GE 100W equivalent bulbs before and these are brighter. I have a ceiling fan with a heavily tinted light housing which poorly lights the room it is in. Popped these bad boys in and now I can see everything in the room clearly. I realized i have to do a better job cleaning and probably should repaint. They can be a tight fit for traditional candelabra bulb enclosures, so measure before you buy.

The lights are bright but seem unreliable and low-quality. Two of four failed within a month (started blinking continuously). Also, when removing the bulb from the socket, the top plastic part comes off instead, leaving the hot metal screw base inside the socket.

Hiker Girl's Hubby here I'm a fanatic about bright. These are VERY BRIGHT! I'm very happy with their light output. The shape makes them a little ugly, but they're in a lamp post fixture and they're SO BRIGHT you can't see them to distinguish the shape anyway, so... Did I mention they are VERY VERY Bright! Seriously, it's uncomfortable looking directly at them when they're on. I'd give'm 8 stars out of 5 for brightness. As for longevity... well... I haven't checked to see how hot they (3 total) get in the fixture & I'd guess heat plays a major role in longevity. We'll see and report back, but seriously, as far as output, these are REAAALLY BRIGHT!

One bulb just failed at 4 months of normal use. I am not satisfied.

These are very bright. I'm super satisfied with their performance but one word of warning. The metal base is part of the screw socket, meaning it is energized when the fixture is on. Most sockets end before much is exposed outside of the fixtures socket, not so with these. It took me a bit to figure out why my circuit breaker kept tripping. I had installed them in a ceiling fan light fixture and the fan's pull chain was touching that metal base and grounding it out. So if you're putting it into a similar fixture make sure the light fixture is far enough away of where that pull chain might hit the base.
