This is not a bean bag chair from the 1960's. FUGU Brand beanbags are oversized, soft foam filled, dual layer, microfiber covered loungers. We threw out the small Styrofoam beans and replaced them with pillow grade foam. It's the main ingredient in the making of a truly comfortable beanbag. Don't be fooled by single layer bean bags filled by third party recycled foam vendors. Our Bean Bag Chairs are filled with CertiPUR-US certified foam. First use bedding foam specifically design for FUGU bean bag chairs.

Two thumbs up for this Giant Beanbag of Sloth
I am old. But I like to stay cool, funky fresh, yo diggity stylin' like the kids do on the intrawebs with their googles and pokeballs. So when I saw these giant beanbags all over the internet, I forgot I was 48, and suffering from the delusion that I was 21 still, I ordered it instead of a couch for my TV loft.I ordered the six footer. It arrived in a box marked 66 pounds. After getting it up the stairs by myself and reading the instructions, I was at first dismayed that I didn't find an inner liner. I bought this brand on purpose because I wanted an inner liner for the foam pieces so the cover would be easy to take off and launder. But my annoyance was short-lived as I realized the foam pieces were already in a liner and vacuum sealed.I waited the two days for the foam pieces to fully inflate, and my patience paid off. The hard part was pulling apart the foam pieces inside the bag - would have been nice to have had help with that and I still have lumps two weeks later but that's OK. I suggest having people over with big and strong hands to assist you with this task.It is big - I put a queen size fitted sheet over it and it fits very well. Keeps the cover from getting all dogged up with my St. Bernard. It shocks me that people are surprised it's big - what do you expect with a six foot round beanbag that tends to ooze out across your floor like a morphing sack of wet play dough? Of course it takes up a lot of room. It's a giant cloud of bliss and hugs that makes up for the love your mother never gave you as a child, and that kind of payoff is going to cost you some real estate. It is harder to maneuver than I imagined, and when laying in it it goes flatter than I thought (but bounces right back when you get out of it and fluff it.) You do sink very close to the floor when laying on this thing, so if you want something that will sit you up even half as high as a sofa, this is not the thing. The Giant Beanbag of Sloth reminded me I was 48 and not 21 the first time I tried to get out of it. Remember when you were young and could just get up off of the floor as if gravity didn't apply to you? This beanbag will remind you that those days are gone. Either develop the ability to roll out of it like a turtle getting itself up from being on its back, put a harness on your dog to assist in pulling you out of it, or have the fire dept on speed dial to extricate you.I was going to get so much done this weekend, but I underestimated the Power of the Beanbag (TM). It developed its own gravitational pull and sucked me and my 135 pound dog right into it (room for one more - bring beer). We were powerless against its forces! And I have a strong suspicion that the Giant Beanbag of Sloth is going to join forces with Netflix and keep us sucked in it all day today too! Don't send help.

BIG IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT
I ordered the 5ft.in blue for a gift for my son. It comes in a nylon zipped bag which I have to say, I needed my husband to help get it out of. It is packed in there tight, but we got it out and it immediately started to expand at which point we put it in the blue cover and zipped it up before It could get too big to deal with. I was shocked at how big this thing is!!! Thank God I didn't order the 6ft. ! Son loves it, but it takes up a big chunk of space. He is 5'11" and weighs 188 lbs. and I now know that the 4ft. would have worked just as well and been even better because of the space it takes. The "bean bag", though it has no beans, is very well made and extremely comfortable.

AMAZING.
Wow. This is everything and more. I scoured Amazon looked from head to toe read every review and decided on this chair / seat / bean bag. I can tell you I am definitely not disappointed the 4-foot is absolutely perfect. It came to the perfect size within one day. I sit in it and by the next day it's proof back up again. Did not need to purchase any extra stuffing it came with just the right amount. And the material is so soft yet thick and sturdy. I have a feeling I'm going to end up with another one before it's over with. The pics of you before and after sitting. It is so very comfortable.

An excellent and very affordable bean bag chair, very satisfied!
Based off some other reviews and the cheaper price of this Bean Bag chair compared to other models of the same size I was a bit skeptical when I ordered and felt I was taking a risk. I can happily say that risk was well worth it.The product arrived extremely quick, just 1 day after I ordered (with free shipping). The box is a standard square cardboard box and the bag is packed tightly within it. There is an outer plastic bag that you will unzip to remove the bean bag, then just slip it inside the microsuede cover. The instructions say to just let it expand but you can also help it along by kneading it. I dug my fingers in and helped pull the material loose from each other on all sides (do this from INSIDE the cover not outside so you don't damage it) and this helped it breathe and expand. It said give it 48 hours but within 12 mine was fully expanded, and I even laid on it a few times during that phase but it definitely reached the full 5"x5" it advertised. The inner material is very comfortable and while I've not tried opening it up to see the innards, definitely feels like the foam strips they advertise. It does require occasional fluffing but it doesn't lose it's size or comfort. The 5" version can comfortably accommodate 2 adults in close proximity (great for cuddling!) It's not particularly heavy but the overall size makes it bulky and difficult to move, it's best to roll it where you want. I've found the best way to fluff it up is to turn it on the side and push down on it and keep rolling it so the widest side it faced up and push into it until it's more ball shaped. It will conform to the position you first sit on it, and pretty much stay there until fluffed so it you don't want to be in an awkward angle the best thing to do is try to sit directly in the center for the first time. It's very soft but durable, a full sized adult can safely fall onto it without risking any injury. You can sleep on it and it's very comfortable but it doesn't offer any actual support so if you do it too much it could be bad for your back.As a final suggestion, I would advise taking a sheet and throwing it over it to use it. Microsuede feels good but gets dirty very easily so having an extra layer over top of it makes it a lot easier to keep clean than having to wrestle with removing and re-filling the cover.

Check this before buying!
Lured into buying this one after reading rave reviews. If anything it is an OK product. The 5' bag I got is too bulky and hard to move around. It doesn't readily conform to a comfortable shape like a bean bag. Body support is good, but you always need an extra pillow to support your head to watch TV.Also it lacks support for the legs while watching TV. If you are old and heavy, it is going to be very hard to raise up from the collapsed and uncomfortable shape the bag settles in. Be aware, it is hard to return this product since it expands to the size of a refrigerator after opening.
