Tibetan Juniper Incense by Mandala Arts & Incense

This smells and looks like real, pure, good quality juniper. Wonderful. The sticks are very short, but last a good while. No perfume! Also, it arrived very thoroughly and carefully packaged. Took a little while to arrive.

I like this product and will consider purchasing it again. It doesn't last long, but the scent is good as a general air freshener or for meditation. Shipping was good and arrived in good condition. Only 4/5 stars as I've seen (slightly) better quality incense for the same price.

A little disappointed in this. Smells more like a campfire or the neighbor burning leaves. Okay in a pinch I guess.

Just like you are burning real dried juniper branches. It is not too strong or synthetic. This is for people who love the real nature juniper. Not for anyone who is looking for perfume type of incense.It comes with a wood stand. Put a plate under it to cauth any ashes for a quick clean up.

First impression was, wow, nice presentation, packaging is kind of elegant. That's where it ends. Looks like authentic Tibetan incense, but if you're into the smell of burning leaves, then go ahead and take a chance. This is my first time trying this brand and if this is supposed to be Juniper, then my nose quit working. Maybe I received a bad batch, old stock? Any way I'll just buy from my regular reputable incense dealer from now on, lesson learned.

Let me say that after burning only two sticks, the remaining bundle is already in the trash. This might be a brutal review in most aspects, but... The accompanying holder is rubbish, and the dark green color was even more off putting and unnatural in person (can anyone say dye, much?). While the scent was very close to what I was looking for, I just could not bring myself to keep the rest of the pack.The smell does not last long, and the holder became clogged after one use. Despite my attempts to dig out the ash, I was unable to use it a second time. In my efforts to clear it, I ran the holder under the kitchen faucet and ended up with yellowish, staining water everywhere... Even the holder was dyed! Fortunately I caught it in time so as not to actually stain my countertop when drying it out. Cut forward to using a new incense holder purchased at a Tibetan shop down the road - I was still disappointed.I specifically switched to this incense in an effort to avoid a relatively expensive brand regularly suffering from quality control issues. Alas, I'll be returning to spending too much on said expensive brand and simply dealing with the wildly varied quality issues.Others may find this incense pleasing - and by all means, do give them a try... You might like them. I, however, did not. Two stars for the scent and price point (which is, for incense, a great value), no stars in every other respect.
