This item is JUNK! I purchased to split my Xfinity cable for two TVs, internet, and a few other items. It was plugged in for 2 days, worked fine at first, but then lost the electrical connection. The wire connection is poor quality and loose. I'm returning the item to Amazon as it doesn't work or turn on. It worked for only 2 days and it is now on its way back to Amazon. BEWARE TOTAL AND COMPLETE JUNK!

I replaced the old CATV splitter with this device when we "Cut the Cord" to save $200 /mo. Plenty of signal strength to each TV in old 1940's farmhouse, all from a single outdoor antenna. The power adapter screws into place, so you can put it anywhere and never have to worry about it disconnecting.

I have been installing amps and antennas all my life. I have been around electronics likewise. I hooked this up and didn't notice any difference. So, I removed it and took some signal readings on some of my weaker channels. I wrote them down and compared them to the signals received with the amp in line. There was no difference. Maybe mine was bad, but it made ZERO difference. I've since done some research and went to a Televes mast mount. The cost was only a few bucks more. Amazon was great in returning my money.

I had a problem with driving four HDTVs off of one HDTV antenna. The TV on the longest coax run would intermittently pixelate on some of the channels.I installed the MRA4-8 between the antenna and the TVs, and the pixelation problem went away.The 7.5 DB amplification is equivalent to a 5.6 times increase in signal strength.I definitely recommend this product if your driving multiple TVs from a single antenna.

Really looking forward to this product. Installs easily and did seem to improve the picture quality for the evening after it was hooked up. The next day, no cable/internet. Seems it quit working. I'm sure it's no fault of the seller or Amazon. I did contact Amazon once I had phone service (internet) again (after I hooked up the old splitter that this replaced) and Amazon is sending out a new one. I would be happy to rate that one (good or bad) once I received it and used it for a bit. And I did receive the second one, worked for two days..
