Two years ago my cat had to have a transfusion. Had NO idea of his flea infestation. Black coat camouflaged them and they were just not jumping on my wife nor I.We thought were going to lose him, but thankfully the Vet’s son’s cat was the same blood type.Anyway. Part of his recovery was to give him this iron supplement mixed in his food (Prescription AD, Amazon available).Like vitamins, he gets a regular dose. Thoroughly mix it in the meat from the very first can, because if you give it to him and NOT have already been mixed in, a cat knows and turns their nose up at it. Mine DEMANDS his mixed in or else walks away. My wife learned it the hard way. Hehe.The healthy pink color returned to his nose, paws and gums.Last health check, including a blood check, was Aces! I was afraid to might have been over dosing. His iron was right as it should be.

Surprisingly tasty! No seriously, my cat is 22 years old and I've had no palatability issues with this product. She's been on it for a year or so, and it seems to be doing a ton of good for her house.

I think of it as geritol for cats and dogs. Good vitamin and iron supplement. Shipped in a timely manner, Competitively priced.

My dog likes the flavor. The vet recommended it for my dog who is anemic.

I've been giving this to my FIV/FELV positive cat. He is always full of energy. He seems to like the taste.

I’m not really sure how I feel about this product. I tried mixing this with my cats food, and honestly it could have been a number of factors. My cat ate food with the medicine for a little bit but ultimately, my cat passed away. I don’t know if it’s the condition my cat was in or if this didn’t work. On his last day, he ended up barfing up the food/medicine mixture. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and atleast rate 3 stars.
