carlson Quality Brake Parts 16078 Pin Boot Kit

My wife ordered this for her Lexus-IS250 but I used it on my Toyota corona premio 1996 model. A211-aepek Frame: At211-0027190 and it fitted perfectly. Folks you can damage the boots if you forget to remove the metal part that remains in the caliper end. There is no need to use fire. Simply place the end of a flat end screwdriver on the outer edge of the slot and gently knock around the edge. The old boot mental ring will pop out. Then you can fit the new one. I placed the new boot rubber in a 22mm socket using a little oil on the rubber to prevent pinching, and tapped it gently but firmly into the caliper slot. This worked perfectly. If you find the old ones even cracked a little bit, just replace them while you're working on the brakes. This type press into the caliper bracket. I found a deep socket that fit just over the rubber part and makes contact around the full circumference of the metal part, and tap it in until it bottoms out. Removing the old one is pretty easy with a small flat screwdriver and hammer.

Installed boot kit for my civic and it went smooth.

Fits perfectly on 1996 Toyota Camry.
