This is an excellent entry-level gate remover for plastic models. It has a tendency to get clogged, but you can use your thumb nail to remove the clogs reasonably easily.

I needed to file the seam on an F-15 Canopy and ordered these. I’m quite mechanical minded, but was skeptical on “filling the clear plastic”. I’m amazed they give a polished finish and work great? Toss the sanding sticks?

These "grinding" tools have have a variety of uses where minimal material removal is required. One example is the use of the finest grit to hone the nib of a fountain pen that needs fine tuning: lightly drag across until desire result is achieved. Easy to clean as well. Just need to know the material to be used against and the desired result.

These were recommended by a YouTube hobbyist, and I love them. They are so easy to use and remove marks from my minis so easily.

They can only go in one direction, wet sanding is a must. But they get the job done

These are great little files which work well on plastic and resin. Leaves a smooth finish. Each file comes in it’s own little case to keep it safe. The filing surface is very fine and tends to clog up if you are filing resin. If yours isn’t filing well, give a rinse and a wipe and it will be good as new. Very nice product.
