All seamstresses should have this on hand
I discovered this tape while looking for something to hold hems in place to sew. This is actually even better than what I used to use, as this is a double sided sticky tape that first allows you to stick together the fabric and reposition it to get it just right. Then you use your steam iron to seal it. You don't even have to sew over it, the steam will seal the fabric in place. You can sew over it if you want to.I used just this tape in making some cafe curtains for my laundry room. Not a stitch did I sew on the sides, the ruffled top hems, or bottom hems. I only sewed a rod pocket at the top for my curtain rod to go through. I could not be happier with this product and will never be without it.

Very Sticky
This did not work for me. First, I should have read the product label better. I was trying to put a small amount in a very close corner. Totally impossible with this stuff - it sticks to your fingers, not the material. In an open space, it would work great, because you can lay it down then peel the pater off. I am sure it is a good product -- just not for me on this project.

Great for hemming!
Great for hemming narrow hems on circle skirts. Press on around the hem, ironing over it very lightly. Peel the backing and fold up, then sew for a perfect hem!

then peel when cool. Still having a difficult time peeling paper from ...
I was unable to get the fusible part to stay on the fabric. A friend told me to iron it with the paper on for a few seconds, then peel when cool. Still having a difficult time peeling paper from the fusible. But it does work by ironing first, just have to baby it to get it peeled. Then the hold is perfect after ironing together to top and bottom piece of fabric. I read everything on the box - no where did it say to iron with the paper still on.

Perfect for zips but doesn't always stick
This is very unpredictable and I advise to practice It on a spare piece of fabric you are working with to get the hang of it as once mastered it makes life a breeze otherwise you can end up with small balls of brown glue, a sticky iron and frayed fabric. It does not always stick and the paper is very fiddly to remove. A damp cloth is needed to stick it firmly so care needs to be taken if precise placement is required as it can move. However It is perfect for easy placement of zips. I cut a piece, finger press it firmly into place then very carefully with a fine pin begin to remove the paper backing. Once a tiny bit of glue is visible, I use the pin to hold the clear strip of glue into place at the same time watching as initially not all the glue comes off the paper. Use the pin to ease the glue strip into place whilst carefully removing the backing paper. When a small section is in place the rest easily follows. I then place my zip into position, finger press and see. Voila! And no pins and no basting.
