Ballasox by Corso Como Women's Prince Ballet Flat

Size:I bought two pairs of these: one in nude (size 8) and one in black (size 7). Reviewers on multiple sites noted that these shoes would be really small and to size up when buying them, so I got one in a size 8. Turns out, my normal size 7 fit perfectly. The 8s had way too much room in the toe and heel.Portability:My primary purpose for these shoes was to have an emergency pair of flats on hand when my sky high stilettos started killing my feet while out dancing with the ladies. I figured I could spend a little more and get shoes that lasted rather than the Dr. Scholls fast flats that everyone seems to say fall apart quickly. These were pretty decent for my purposes. Unfortunately, they really don't roll up to be too small. I had to smash the backs down a bit but eventually got them to fit into my crossbody bag. The bag ended up being pretty bulky, but my feet were so thankful I had them with me by the end of the night.Comfort:They aren't as comfortable as everyone seems to suggest. I really wish these types of shoes didn't have so much elastic because they backs just end up digging into your heels even if the shoe is the right size. That part was really disappointing because I had hoped I could wear these as occasional flats when I needed a cute pair of black shoes. I wouldn't dare try that though, as they were digging into my heels when I did very minimal walking. Having said that, my feet were so tender from dancing in heels all night that the heel pain was totally acceptable compared to the alternative. Also, that 'sock' lining is just a nuisance. It bunches up, so you end up stepping on random folds, which is uncomfortable.Stylishness:These aren't hideous, but they're not spectacular. You could certainly find a cuter, non-portable version, but that wouldn't serve the same function. They kind of just look like generic flats. The nude ones were a shiny patent leather that looked really cheap and pretty tacky, so I would stick to the matte black or some other matte color. The black ones were way better in comparison.All in all, I did rate these as 4 out of 5 stars because they are decent shoes for being rollup flats. I didn't pay full price and I wouldn't suggest buying them for full price either. Find them on sale and you'll be happy with your purchase!

I read all the reviews prior to buying these shoes, so I kind of had an idea of what I was getting into. I really needed a pair of comfortable black flats though, and at one third of the list price these were a pretty good deal. I took the advice of another reviewer and did a little home surgery to correct the elastic cutting into my heel, and they turned out acceptably well. The black velvet hides the cuts better than some fabrics (if you're careful and make clean cuts), so I can still wear then with skirts and shorts.

I love these shoes, I bought my first pair over a year ago and wish I would have known how much I would grow to love them. They are perfect to wear with anything, you can wear them with dresses, shorts or pants :) I'm very tall woman 5'11 and when I go to Las Vegas I need a very comfortable cute shoes to wear with my dresses since I dislike to wear high heals when I have to walk a lot. These are the most comfortable cute shoes I have ever had. I own over 7 pairs of black flats all different styles and my Ballasox are the ones I always reach for. I have worn them so much the soles are starting to wear out so thought it would be great to get another pair.

These shoes were terrible nothing like the picture shows. Sure we all have different size feet and I ordered my reg Shoes size a 10 and the way the picture shows the shoe is big where your toes are it was so small where your toes go so there for I thtew them in the garbage . When you put them on the front of the shoe I just couldn't believe how small it was I could fit 3 toes in the shoe. I didnt like them at all and dont recommand them to anyone. REMEMBER LADIES LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING !!

I ordered a size 6 and had to return them as my toes were busting out of the top. I normally wear a size 6 and they were way too tight. Order a size bigger. A half size would be better but they don't come in half sizes. They are comfortable but they take some getting used to. I wore them on vacation without wearing them first and my calves were sore the next day. They are great to wear with skinny jeans or leggings. I liked them so much I went back an ordered another pair in tan.

These flats by Corso Como are made of very soft leather. I loved the color as well. The problem was the fit. I am on the small side of a size 8, and these were to tight/ short even for me. It's a shame because I really liked them...

I loved these shoes so much, I purchased 2 more pairs! I keep one pair in my classroom and an extra pair for when the ones I first bought wear out! LoL Although they do not offer much arch support, they are very comfortable and super cute! They are my go to shoes in the spring and go with everything from skirts, shorts, short pants, and jeans! My feet are shaped a little odd and the elastic on the shoes helps give me a perfect fit.

I bought these to change into during my wedding reception. They are cute but the back of the shoe pinched my ankles so much that I decided to change back into the heels that were killing me.
