Easy to install/use
This will tie in to existing 12V wiring on an RV awning. You must be within 5’ ish feet from the controller when you are switching colors, however you can download the app which works from a little further distance.

Works perfect. App logs into lights automatically!
This was a super easy install. The app logs into lights automatically. Working great.I did read where people had issues with control box not being waterproof. I ran into this issue on my old trailer with different lights.Here is what I did to remind that issue and it lasted 8 years and was still working when I sold the trailer.I wrapped the control box with electrical tape but not super tight so it doesn’t press the buttons. Just get it snug. Then on the top where the sensor wire and the plug for the LED strip come out I put silicone and then I did the same on the bottom where power plugs in. Sounds hard but it took 5 min to do all of this. Your basically sealing the control box.Great item.

The light strip stopped working right after the return window closed. Waste of money, first stopped responding to remote control via phone and then 1 week later lights failed totally.

Very cool setup. Installed with the supplied double sided tape. Easy setup and looks great. Highly recommend!

Try another option.
Just installed the lights. Led strip seems water proof but the connection to the ir receiver is not. Huge let down. Not sure whyd they did this knowing it was going to be installed outside and get wet. What I ended up doing was tape the receiver and the connector with Flex tape to prevent water damage. If you have that laying around it might help with making these last. But other than that I'd probably shop for a different brand. The color changing pattern is also a little wonky. It'll switch hard to the color red. Not sure how to better explain it but it'll be changing colors smoothly and then almost noticeably change to red without it being subtle about it. This is in fade mode.

ID BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!
The delivery was fast! The lights are bright! But when we put them up, something was wrong with the control box. I wrote to the business and they wrote RIGHT back! Their communication was FANTASTIC! They immediately sent out a new control box and VIOLA….THEY WORK! The customer service was out of this world!!! They made a wrong, right! And I would HIGHLY recommend them just in that aspect alone! Out of 5 stars, I’d give them a 10!!!!!
