I got him this racquet for Christmas and now he'll be unstoppable come summer.

quality and string tension inconsistency
The racket frame cracked on its own within a week, probably due to high string tension. I sent it back to Wilson for a replace. The replaced one was badly strung. The string was loose and not straight. I guess the stringing is not consistent and the quality check is not very well done.

Beginner / Intermediate level
Well made Wilson brand racket. Obviously this racket is not meant for professionals, rather the racket is designed for beginners or intermediate level players. In hand, this racket feels incredibly light and the string tension is not too high. The lower string tension allows for a greater control when returning the hit. Overall this is a great racket for most players but those looking for a higher level racket with a stronger smash may want to look elsewhere. So overall, great control but requires a stronger player to get a harder smash.
